Their team is based in Columbia, South Carolina, where the founder, Payton Hollingsworth was born and raised. Lauren Kopal, Owner of Navy Jane, Shares Her Journey From Nursing To Fashion Designer
Today we speak with Lauren Kopal, owner of Navy Jane. Lauren is from Connecticut and has been a nurse for over 30 years working in New York City, then in pharmaceuticals. She started her company Navy Jane in 2015 after being diagnosed with cancer. Her company started as a plus-size clothing line, and she pivoted the company around 2020 to now include sweaters, beaded purses and accessories!

Working on the development of this brand allows the legacy of her late mother who passed from breast cancer and whose nickname with close friends and family was “Penny,” to shine through and make all of us feel magical!
