For National Girls & Women in Sports Day, I sit down with Aydan Dalak, a senior volleyball student-athlete at Northern Michigan University.

Now competing at the collegiate level, she shares what it takes to balance a demanding nursing major with athletics, navigate the transfer process after beginning her college career at Bluefield State University, and grow into her identity beyond the jersey.
