More Than Meets The Eye - With Rehema Muthamia, Former Miss England
Cohorted talks to Rehema Muthamia about her background, career and recent win of the beauty pageant – Miss England. Rehema discusses what it was like to be the only woman of colour throughout her degree and Masters, and how she dealt with the racist backlash that came after she was crowned.
She opens up about the process of becoming Miss England, and the sisterhood she found in her fellow contestants – in her words, all amazing, intellectual women who have a passion for a cause.
Rehema addresses the common misconceptions she faces in both her career in consulting, but also towards people who compete in pageants, and argues the point that women should have a place in STEM industries and that it’s important to see people who look like you.
Finally, she touches on her passion for women’s issues and how she thinks that men can get involved in the conversation.

Behind The Camera - With Katie Bailiff
Cohorted’s host, Ximena Guijarro, talks to Katie Bailiff about how women have come through the ranks in the field, the barriers to women’s success in a male-dominated industry, the importance of loving what you do, and shooting a rape trial.
Katie fell in love with the film world around the age of 14. Her father, a boat builder, loaned a boat to a local production crew for a film they were shooting nearby. Katie tagged along and spent the next day and a half on the set, loving every moment!
In today’s episode, she chats to Ximena about what Women in Film and Television really does, what membership and mentorship entails, the advice she’d give to women starting in the industry, and how to identify a key story.
WFTV is currently working on the bare bones of a leadership program and a writer’s retreat.
