Ep 6 | Leaving Your Current Company
Today I am going to be talking about how to start planning to leave your company for another role outside of your company to grow your career. The research shows that the average salary increase when changing jobs is 14.8%, while wage growth is 5.8% for those who remain at their job. It's risky to leave the comfort, but the rewards can be big.
This episode breaks down three strategies:
1) How to assess what you do/do not like about your current job
2) How to organize your target companies
3) How to start with warm leads
Here is a link to the Target Company Profile that is mentioned in the article: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1-4A-AcoE-dpqpd8PR51Z4H-i4cOs5S88jpipSMC_rxo/edit?usp=sharing

Ep 1 | Window 1 Gives Small Cones
I thought the best way to kick off this podcast is to give you a little bit of my story, and talk about how I got my first job in high school. So I am going back to my roots, back to the streets of Danvers Massachusetts in the summer of 1998. Come along and learn more about why I think it's important to get a job early, and why I am going to make both of my kids work in retail one day.
