I hate boxes!
It really sucks to be boxed into a 1-dimensional cutout, that's never been me, and I'm pretty sure that's never been you.
That's the point of Unfinished, these are fragments, snapshots, stories of actual lived lives, of mine, of my friends, of strangers and familiar people.
Life is a journey and it meanders, when you're freidns with me, so do those conversations, so here's a glimpse of the globe from my perspective.
No agenda, no rules, just a conversation between people, living, growing and changing as it does from all four corners of this beautifully flawed world of ours
At the beginning of this year, I didn't have this podcast. I had no idea what the hell I was going to do with 2026. And I didn't know that Gee Gee or Brandon even existed. One month in, a little coincidence called Caleb introduced me to Brandon. Two months in, I found myself cooking in the random kitchen of a spice master in Taiwan with Brandon and his fiancée, Gee Gee.Four months in, I was at their wedding in London and found out me and Gee Gee went to the same uni.Seven months in, Gee Gee and I sat down to record this episode. And ten months in, we're all back in Taiwan for Caleb's wedding.Life is freaking weird. And to quote a good friend quoting a preety cool author, “Journey before destination.”Here's to the winding roads of life, the people we meet along the way, and all the things unplanned and unfinished.I still have no idea what's next...Welcome to Episode 16 of Unfinished. - How to Be the Bird.00:00 Intro: How To Be The Bird01:53 A House Full of Stories06:24 To Tea or Not To Tea17:59 Sense & Sensitivity25:32 Healing Vs. Episode 15: Serendipitous Strangers with Jaume 🇺🇸/🇳🇱/🇲🇽/🇪🇸
Nothing in Life usually goes the way I expect. So back in May when I first met Jaume at Nordic Games, I thought well just another rando in a business meeting and for a day that's all it was. Then the next day we ran into each other again and this time was a random encounter at the end of the conference. What was likely supposed to be a 5 minute hey and bye turned into a 2+ hour conversation about life, dreams, philosophy, literature and exposing our deepest darkest most personal writings. That is exactly what life is about the little strange moments that you don't see coming and from that came another new friendship. Welecome to Episode 15 - Serendipitious Strangers.Little Easter Egg for you that was actually the og title of this show before I came to my senses that SS is not an abreviation for this wholesome little show but it lasted quite a while till I found unfinished.CHAPTERS00:00 Intro to Jaume02:16 Deutsche Bahn is a Piece of Shit13:15 Peeing Is a Public Right30:20 Unplanned Adventures44:48 Don't Make Your Hobby Work48:03 The Best Days Are the Ones You Don't Plan55:08 Getting Shot by Fireworks is Incredible1:03:13 Capturing Memories vs. Living Them1:07:49 The Lives I Leave Behind1:19:31 From Retail to the Games Industry1:27:19 A Bumble Date Changed My Life1:35:32 A Proposal at SeaMEMORABLE QUOTES04:54 — “It's literally like a horror story. Episode 14: Kindness is a Rebellion with Karl 🇵🇭/🇺🇸/🇬🇧
The Hot Boy Summer EpisodeWelcome to sunny England, the land of heat and zero AC. This summer, my friend, and one of London's best builders known for his pink terminals, joined me for a talk all about tech, life, games and all the secrets of Winnie the Pooh. This one was a blast to record, Karl, is all around an awesome dude, and one of the most creative builders in London. We've been friends ever since the first hack we met at, which Karl won for his romance generator. So tune in for a good time about tech and storytelling, and of course the Tao of Pooh!Apologies for the audio sync issues towards the end.
