The things we think but don’t say.
Unhinged, Apparently. is a podcast about the thoughts we’re apparently not supposed to have — about work, relationships, sex, money, parenting, aging, ambition, jealousy, boredom, and all the other slightly uncomfortable parts of being an adult.
No life lessons. No five step healing plans. No pretending to have it all figured out.
Just one questionable thought at a time — said out loud, picked apart, occasionally contradicted, and hopefully laughed at.
Because maybe you’re not toxic. Maybe you’re just annoyed.
Maybe we’re all completely Unhinged. Apparently.
Remember when you couldn't keep your hands off each other?
Now you can't stand the way they chew.
Welcome to the sexual downgrade. Where spontaneous sex becomes household management, foreplay becomes a distant memory, and the person you once wanted naked on every available surface is now blocking the dishwasher.
But here's the uncomfortable part: What if your sex drive hasn't disappeared? What if it's just lost interest in your partner?
From the rabbit phase to sexual retirement, we're talking long-term relationships, disappearing desire, mismatched libidos, and how two people who once couldn't get enough of each other end up running a very efficient household.
Because apparently, you can have great chemistry and still end up as the procurement department.

Let‘s Talk About Sex. First Date Or Third?
LET'S TALK ABOUT SEX. FIRST DATE OR THIRD? 🎙️
Sex on the first date? Too soon. Third date? Apparently acceptable. But who made these rules, and why are we all pretending we're not interested?
This week on Unhinged, Apparently., we're talking about first-date sex, the ridiculous three-date rule, playing hard to get, and the fear that someone might lose interest the moment we show ours.
Because apparently, wanting someone is sexy. Admitting it is where things get complicated.
The things we think but don't say.

I Have Feelings. I'd Like To Return Them. The Fearful Avoidant.
I HAVE FEELINGS. I'D LIKE TO RETURN THEM.
What happens when you desperately want love, but the moment someone actually likes you back, your brain files an emergency evacuation request?
Welcome to fearful-avoidant attachment. Where you crave closeness, panic when you get it, and somehow manage to miss the person you just pushed away.
In this episode of The Attachment Files, we're talking mixed signals, emotional whiplash, self-sabotage, and the spectacular talent of ruining something that was going perfectly fine.
Because apparently, getting what you want is also a problem.

How To Lose A Guy In 10 Feet.
Things are going great. The chemistry is there. You’re getting closer. So naturally… time to run.
This week on The Attachment Files: avoidant attachment, emotional ultramarathons, suspicious toothbrushes, suddenly discovering flaws that were apparently fine three weeks ago — and the sacred need for space.
Because sometimes you don’t stop liking someone. You just start building another continent between you.
Come closer. Just… not that close.

The Attachment Files. Anxious Attachment.
“Sounds good” instead of “sounds great.” Nothing to worry about, obviously.
Welcome to The Attachment Files, where we investigate what attachment styles actually look like in modern dating.
First up: anxious attachment — featuring forensic WhatsApp analysis, response-time mathematics, reassurance about the reassurance, and the emotional significance of a full stop.
Because sometimes “Sounds good” really does just mean sounds good.
Probably.
I mean… why didn’t they say “sounds great”?

We‘re All Someone's Boomer
Every generation thinks the next one is slightly ridiculous.
Their clothes. Their slang. Their music. The way they work. The way they date. The fact that lunch apparently now requires photographic evidence.
And then one day, you hear yourself say, “What does that word even mean?” and realize:
Oh no.
We’re all someone’s boomer.
This episode is about the weird little things that separate generations — and the uncomfortable possibility that becoming out of touch might just be part of the deal.

The Cheat Sheet. Till DMs Do Us Part.
When does cheating actually start?
A kiss? Obviously. A flirty DM? Maybe. Deleting the DM? Hmm. Keeping the dating app “just to look”? Having an emotional affair with someone you’ve technically never touched?
Suddenly, fidelity has terms and conditions.
This episode is about all the wonderfully uncomfortable grey areas: flirting, messages, exes, emotional cheating, social media, porn, AI — and the impressive amount of work we’ll put into explaining why something technically doesn’t count.
Because if you wouldn’t do it with your partner standing next to you… we might be getting warmer.

Fifty Shades Of Red Flags
Red flags. We’re brilliant at spotting them in other people’s relationships. Our own? Suddenly we need context.
He talks about his ex constantly. He casually mentions how many women adore him. All his exes were “crazy.” And somehow we’re still there thinking: Well… maybe there’s more to the story.
This episode is about the impressive mental gymnastics we perform when we really want something to work: the Hotness Discount, falling in love with someone’s potential, ignoring our friends, and — when all else fails — asking AI until it gives us the answer we wanted.
Because maybe we don’t need another list of 37 red flags.
Maybe we just need to stop turning red into burgundy.

You Might Be Terrible At It. So What?!
What happened to being bad at something and doing it anyway?
Somewhere along the way, trying something new became a full psychological event. We research it, overthink it, ask everyone’s opinion, buy the equipment… and then quietly move it to number 98 on the list.
This episode is about comfort zones, being a beginner, looking ridiculous, doing things alone, risking rejection — and why “I tried it and hated it” might still be better than “I’ve always wanted to.”
You might be terrible at it.
So what?!

It's Not You. It's Your Attachment Style.
Apparently, there are four main attachment styles.
Secure. Anxious preoccupied. Dismissive avoidant. Fearful avoidant.
And then there are the unofficial ones: Wi-Fi attached, future tense attached and customer service attached.
Because sometimes “Why the fuck hasn’t he texted me back?” is apparently not a question. It’s an attachment style.
Now on Unhinged, Apparently: why some of us chase, some disappear, some want you closer — but absolutely not THAT close — and why securely attached people seem to have an unreasonable amount of spare time.

AI Did Half The Work. Do I Still Get The Credit?
AI writes the email. You get the compliment.
AI builds the presentation. You take the applause.
And when it turns out to be complete bullshit?
“Yeah… AI did that.”
So who actually deserves the credit when AI did half the work?
This week, I’m getting into the increasingly blurry line between using AI as a tool and quietly letting it make you look much smarter than you are. Prompting, fake expertise, AI labels, suspiciously brilliant colleagues — and why being good at AI might actually be a skill.
Also: Mary Poppins has entered the chat.
Unfortunately, she’s very good at prompting.

Can We Talk About Dating Quickly?
Can We Talk About Dating Quickly?
More people. More choice. More dating apps. So finding someone should be easier, right?
Apparently not.
This week: big-city dating, endless options, mixed signals, a man obsessed with my third eye, another who ate like a velociraptor, and the unforgettable romantic declaration: “I could have dated a model. But I chose you.”
Maybe finding someone isn’t about finding a person who isn’t weird. Maybe it’s about finding the particular kind of weird you can live with.

I’ll Do It Tomorrow. Obviously.
You know that thing you need to do? The one that would take five minutes? Yeah. That one.
Instead of doing it, we’ll think about it for three days, clean a drawer, make a coffee, Google something completely irrelevant and eventually hand the whole problem over to Tomorrow Us — who, apparently, is far more capable.
This week: unanswered emails, unreturned parcels, aggressively helpful reminders, fake productivity and the strange psychology of “I was literally about to do it. But now I’m not.”
Because procrastination isn’t doing nothing.
It’s doing absolutely everything except the thing.

The Conjoined Couple Syndrome
At some point, some couples stop being two people and seem to become… a conjoined organism.
“We don’t drink during the week.”
“We hate musicals.”
“We’re more Italy people.”
Are we? Or did one of you just become the press department?
This week: joint opinions, relationship legislation, location tracking, matching trainers and couples who apparently share a liver.
Love is beautiful. But please remain two separate human beings.

Can We Stop Calling Everything a Gamechanger?
Can We Stop Calling Everything a Gamechanger?
Apparently, everything is a gamechanger now.
AI tools. Air fryers. Face serum. A water bottle with a straw.
At this point, what game are we even playing — and why does it still look exactly the fucking same?
This week: LinkedIn language, corporate bullshit, “transformational” software, mildly impressive products — and why “pretty useful” might be the most honest marketing phrase of all time.
Because not everything has changed the game.
Most things have barely changed Tuesday.
What word or phrase would you permanently delete from modern vocabulary?

I Told AI About My Relationship. Of Course It Agreed With Me.
I Told AI About My Relationship. Of Course It Agreed With Me.
I told AI about my relationship.
It listened. It understood. It validated my feelings.
And — incredibly — it agreed that I was right.
How convenient.
But AI only knows the story we tell it. And somehow, in our version of events, we rarely turn out to be the asshole.
So what happens when we start using AI to analyse our relationships, decode texts, settle arguments and tell us whether our partner is toxic?
Maybe AI is a very good mirror.
But it’s a terrible witness.

Why Are We All So Busy
Why Are We All So Busy?
Busy has somehow become a personality trait. A status symbol. Maybe even a humblebrag.
We’re booked solid, back-to-back, drowning in emails — and weirdly proud of it.
But are we really that busy?
Or do we just like feeling needed, important and slightly unavailable?
An episode about calendar Olympics, 11:47 p.m. emails, doing absolutely fuck all — and why an empty Tuesday might be the ultimate flex.
Maybe you’re not busy. Maybe you just don’t fucking want to.

The Self Improvement Trap
Apparently, we’re all a work in progress. And frankly, it’s fucking exhausting.
When did being a normal, imperfect human turn into a full-time renovation project?
In Episode 1, I’m questioning our obsession with healing, optimizing and becoming the best version of ourselves.
Maybe you don’t need another morning routine.
Maybe you’re already fine.

Yes. I bought a microphone and now we all have to live with the consequences.
