Unicorn Confidential is the podcast for the rare, the sought-after, and the wildly misunderstood — told, for once, from the unicorn's point of view. Hosts Professor Elle and Sara get into the real adventures, misadventures, and hard-won wisdom of being a unicorn in the world of ethical non-monogamy: the great dates, the cringe-worthy couples, the boundaries, and everything the "how to find a unicorn" guides conveniently leave out. Part storytelling, part survival guide, always honest. Listener discretion advised.
Everybody thinks they've got a unicorn figured out: bi woman, single, hunting couples, the end. Elle and Sara are here to pop that balloon. This week they open the whole umbrella — yes the couples, but also the single men, the women, the other unicorns, and the nights they show up as half of a couple looking for a third. Along the way: a blessing of unicorns conga-lining through the club in glitter horns (and the message-board drama that followed), a lesbian ghost who materialized at 5 a.m., rearranged the furniture, and was never seen again, and a signature shade of lipstick that has left more than one man looking like the Joker the next morning.
Underneath the chaos, the good stuff: how to spot a couple that's actually solid versus one that's shopping for a toy, why "can we be discreet?" is a hard no but discretion isn't, the unreasonable hotness of a man who reaches for a condom unprompted, and the difference between solo poly and single poly when you're the one coming home to yourself. Because you can spend all week choosing other people — but somebody's still got to choose you.

Episode 5 - Tits Up: Our Best Unicorn Horror Stories
Being a unicorn isn't always rainbows and Skittle farts. This week, Elle and Sara dish on the times things went sideways — from a hot tub confession that blew up a brand-new marriage, to a hotel hookup derailed by one very drunk, very confused wife, to a backseat joyride that ended in tears (not the fun kind). There's a bait-and-switch "unicorn hunter" with a vasectomy update nobody asked for, a persistent guy who just could not take a hint, and a gag-reflex story that ends exactly how you'd expect a "no hands on the back of the head" PSA to end.
But it's not just chaos for chaos's sake — the girls dig into what these nights taught them: how to actually use the word "no," why group chats beat sneaking around, how alcohol turns green lights into landmines, and why every unicorn needs a solid circle of friends (and maybe a sex-positive therapist) in her corner. Funny, messy, and honest — because even magical creatures have off nights.

Episode 4 - Unicorn Self Care
Self-care gets thrown around like it's all bath bombs and face masks — but what does it actually look like when you're navigating the unicorn lifestyle? This episode, Elle and Sara go way past the surface to talk about what real self-care means when sex, connection, and other people's emotions are all in the mix.
They dig into knowing your "why" (and how it shifts over time), recognizing when your brain is in an altered state, vetting the people you let into your space, and holding your boundaries even when the moment gets tempting. From there, the conversation moves into the emotional side — jealousy, rejection, catching feelings, and why having an "accountabili-buddy" might be your best tool in the lifestyle.
They also get real about physical and sexual health: hydration, sleep, STI testing, ditching the "clean vs. dirty" language for good, and why aftercare matters just as much when you're heading home solo. Honest, funny, and refreshingly unfiltered — this is self-care for grown-ups actually living the lifestyle.

Episode 3 - Party Etiquette 101
Elle and Sara pop the cork on everyone's favorite topic: how to actually go to a sex party without embarrassing yourself. Spoiler — it's less "walk in and everyone's naked" and more "bring snacks, know your boundaries, and for the love of god drink some water." They break down how to get invited in the first place (hint: FetLife, kink communities, and being a human who makes friends), what to pack (splash blanket, your own condoms, a change of clothes for the 4am Uber ride home), and the unspoken art of reading a room full of strangers who are about to get very naked together.
Of course, it wouldn't be an episode without the receipts — airtight attempts, squirting mishaps, a lost condom that required "deep squats" to retrieve, and the time Sara's shrooms kicked in four hours late and turned a wind-down into an impromptu rave. But it's not all filth and fun: they also get real about the nights that don't go great — the FOMO, the jealousy, the mid-party meltdowns — and why having your accountabilibuddy on speed dial matters just as much on the bad nights as the good ones.
Bring your own lube. Bring your own towel. Bring your A-game.

Episode 2 - How We Unicorn
Elle and Sarah pull up chairs (and plenty of toys) to talk about what they wish they'd known when they were just starting out as new unicorns. This one's for anyone who's ever wondered what it actually feels like to step into the unicorn lifestyle for the first time - and to hear about some of the pitfalls that newbies can avoid when heading out into the wide (and sometimes scary) world of non-monogamy: low self-worth, bending yourself to what someone else wants, and why knowing your boundaries before you're in the moment matters more than knowing them after. Equal parts pep talk and survival guide, this episode is aimed at anyone new to the unicorn world (or curious about it).

Episode 1 - Meet the Unicorns!
Every show has to start somewhere - and, like most, Professor Elle and Sara start this episode from the beginning: how they each found their way into the world of ethical non-monogamy, how they ended up wearing the horn, what drew them in, and what surprised them. Along the way they lay out what they want Unicorn Confidential to be — the stories they're here to tell, the questions they're here to answer, and the honesty they're committing to for the episodes ahead. Part origin story, part mission statement, this is the episode you get to say you heard Day One. Pull up a chair, we're excited to see you!
