Built for Generosity | Acts 4:32–5:11
Money has a way of revealing what has our heart.
In this message from Acts 4:32–5:11, we continue our Built Different series by looking at one of the most uncomfortable—and most revealing—marks of a follower of Jesus: generosity.
The early church understood that everything they had ultimately belonged to God. Their generosity met real needs, advanced the Gospel, and demonstrated the transforming power of Jesus in their lives. But the story of Ananias and Sapphira reminds us that generosity isn't just about what we give—it’s about the posture of our hearts.
Are we willing to trust God with what He has entrusted to us? Is money serving us, or has it become our security? And are we pursuing genuine holiness, or simply trying to maintain the appearance of being a good Christian?
This message will challenge you to see your money, possessions, and generosity differently—and ultimately to recognize that God isn't after your money. He's after your heart.
Because when God's people become generous people, needs are met, the Gospel advances, and hearts are changed.

Built for Community
Built for Community | Acts 4:23–32
You were never meant to do life alone.
In Acts 4:23–32, we see what makes the early church Built Different. When Peter and John faced opposition, they didn’t isolate themselves—they went back to their church family. And when they gathered, they prayed together, stood firmly on God’s Word, and lived with a deep sense of unity.
The same is true for us today. We are built for community—but not just any community. We need people who will pray with us, point us back to Scripture, stand with us when life gets hard, and help us become more like Jesus.
In this message, we look at why every believer needs a church community that prays, knows God’s Word, and stands together.
Because when the church is united around Jesus, we really are stronger together.

Built for Boldness
Built for Boldness | Acts 4:1–21
What does biblical boldness actually look like?
In Acts 4, Peter and John find themselves standing before the same authorities who had Jesus crucified. They could have backed down, stayed quiet, or played it safe—but instead, filled with the Holy Spirit, they boldly proclaimed the name of Jesus.
Biblical boldness isn’t being loud, argumentative, or fearless. It’s being willing to remain faithful and obedient to Christ even when doing so brings opposition or conflict.
In this message from our Built Different series, we look at what it means to be believers who are confident in Christ, passionate about the Gospel, and willing to do the most loving thing—even when it’s the hardest thing.
The goal isn’t for people to be impressed by our boldness. The goal is for people to see that we’ve been with Jesus.
