Who gave Jesus authority to tell people how to live? This was the question from the “Religious People" in the last week of Jesus’ life at the temple. Was it a matter of an honest question they had for Jesus, or was it to discredit Him and trap Him? Who gives anyone authority to say how someone should live? Does anybody have this type of authority? We look at this topic and authority in this week's teaching from Luke 20:1-8.

House Cleaning Part 2
What happens when the opposition against the gospel is so defiant that those in opposition want to kill you? You keep on teaching! In this second part of "Cleaning House" Jesus sets the example of pressing on. When the gospel is presented there is really only two answers: accept or reject!

House Cleaning
What happens when Jesus walks into a place that is supposed to be devoted to the Lord, and finds that the people have forgotten what it was created for? He tries to clean it up! When Jesus enters Jerusalem In Luke 19, He doesn’t go to a Roman palace first, He goes to the house of God first. Sometimes Jesus doesn’t come into our lives to make us more comfortable-sometimes He comes to clean out what has taken the place of God! This week in Luke 19:45-48 we will see some overdue “House Cleaning” take place!
