Lacey discusses recent blog posts from one of her favorite historians, Dr. Heather Cox Richardson of Boston College, and intertwines within it how Turkey's own government is inflicting mass trauma on its citizens after the devastating earthquake in February. Lacey also discusses the ongoing defamation lawsuit against Fox News, and how the network played a massive role in destabilizing democracy in the United States, and further ushering in patterns of authoritarianism.
As a sidenote, five or so years ago I never thought I would have a favorite historian, but this is apparently my life now....
