"The universe is made of stories, not of atoms."
It is by this quote that this podcast lives, focused on making observations about told stories while also telling some stories. Movies, books, and TV are an obvious place to turn to for stories; so be ready to hear reviews and discussions about them.
A not-so-detailed review of Of Passion and Ink, edited by Dzekashu MacViban of Bakwa Books Cameroon. I walk through each of the ten short stories in the book, summarizing them and giving my thoughts. Here's one description of the book: "From Limbe, the seaside city, to Kolofata in the north of Cameroon, Of Passion and Ink moves from stories of star-crossed lovers, mental health, dark fantasy, displacement, speculative futures to radicalization. These stories subvert what is believed to be the Cameroonian short story and offer exciting new directions."
My recommendation? Read the book if you can. But you can still go ahead and listen to me talk about it for most of 45 minutes.

The Fisherman's Diary: The Movie
The Fisherman's Diary is one of the first Cameroonian movies to be available on Netflix — the streaming giant. Not intending this to be a review, I decided to talk about the different aspects of the movie, especially the story.

My Top Ten Actors OAT: The List.
An enumeration of ten actors I think are the best of all time. For each actor, I try to explain why they are in my top ten and state the movie from which I first took note of how good of an actor they are. Please manage your expectations and know that the list is limited to my experience with movies and television.
Thank you for coming back from the previous episode, and if you are new here, welcome. I hope you enjoy it.
