About Unleash & Align
For the Balkan woman who has spent her life being who everyone expected her to be, and wants to find herself again. I’m Michelle, a coach for Balkan women. On this podcast, we talk about the things we grew up with but rarely say out loud: the guilt, the pressure, “Što će ljudi reći?”, always being “fine,” and putting everyone else first. Unleash & Align means letting the real you come back, and then living your life as her, not as the person everyone expects you to be. Through personal stories and honest conversations, we talk about trusting yourself, setting boundaries, resting without guilt, and choosing yourself without losing your family or your roots. 19 // Who Are You When Nobody's Clapping?
In this episode I am sharing what I've been moving through over the past two weeks, being forced to slow down after months of pushing, proving, and making my business my entire personality. I open up about the uncomfortable but necessary question that's been sitting with me: who are we when nobody's clapping? I talk about tying my worth to achievement since my school years, repeating the same burnout pattern in Australia and now in my business, and how operating from lack and control never actually leads anywhere good. I share how real capacity comes from balance, community, and letting pleasure back into your life, not from doing more. This episode is about grief, growth, and giving myself grace. The grief of a life left behind in Australia, the growth of almost a year rebuilding in Zagreb, and the grace of realizing that six months isn't as long as it feels, and that the timeline was never the point. It's about capacity, community, and remembering that slowing down isn't going backwards. It's realigning with what you actually want. If you're in a season where everything feels like too much, this episode is your reminder to stop, sit in the discomfort, and ask yourself the same question: who are you when no one's watching? 18 // When doing more stops working
What happens when you’ve been pushing, doing and trying to control everything for so long that you start losing your spark? In this episode, I’m sharing an honest reflection on the season I’ve been moving through, struggling to balance building a business with actually being present in my life, learning to let go of control, and realising that the way I used to push myself simply isn’t working anymore. We talk about rest, productivity, reconnecting with your inner girl, bringing joy and creativity back into your life, and why sometimes coming back to yourself has nothing to do with doing more. If you’re ambitious, constantly thinking about the next thing, or finding it difficult to switch off without feeling guilty, this episode is your reminder that rest, pleasure and play aren’t distractions from the life you’re creating. They’re part of it. Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/michelle.juric/?hl=en (https://www.instagram.com/michelle.juric/?hl=en)

17 // I Left Australia for Croatia ... Here's What No One Tells You
Almost one year ago, I made the decision to leave my life in Australia and move to Croatia without knowing exactly how it would work out. And while moving countries has been one of the most expansive experiences of my life, it has also challenged me in ways I never expected. In this episode, I’m sharing the real mental and emotional side of starting again, navigating an identity shift, being back around family and Balkan culture, learning to hold my boundaries, building a new community and continuing to trust myself when the people around me didn’t always understand my choices. We also talk about travel, uncertainty, overthinking, taking action and why sometimes you need to leave everything familiar to discover who you actually are. Because you can move across the world, but you still take yourself with you. 🤍 Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/michelle.juric/?hl=en (https://www.instagram.com/michelle.juric/?hl=en)

16 // You’ll Never “Get There” — So Start Living Now Stop Trying to Fix Yourself & Start Living
What if the life you’re working so hard to create is already happening around you? In this episode, I’m sharing some of the biggest realizations I had after slowing down, spending time by the Croatian seaside and giving myself permission to simply live. We talk about the guilt so many of us feel around rest, especially when you grew up believing that your worth is tied to how much you do, why slowing down doesn’t mean you’re unmotivated, and how I’m learning to build my business from a place of calm instead of constant urgency. I also share a powerful reminder I received while reading Ask and It Is Given: you’re never really going to “arrive.” There will always be another goal, another version of you and another thing you could work towards. The beauty is learning to enjoy who you’re becoming along the way. We also dive into self-trust, letting go of timelines, taking action without knowing exactly how things will turn out, and why making the “wrong” decision might actually bring you closer to what you truly want. Most importantly, this episode is your reminder that life itself is one of your greatest teachers. You don’t need to heal every part of yourself before you date, travel, start the business, meet new people or allow yourself to have fun. Go live. Make memories. Try things. Change your mind. Rest. Connect. Take the risk. Your life isn’t waiting for you at the next goal. It’s happening right now. 15 // Showing Up Imperfectly (This Episode Included)
In today’s episode, I’m taking you behind the scenes of what the last month has really looked like while building my business. We talk about perfectionism, burnout, the pressure to always be productive, and why so many of us believe we have to earn our rest. If you’ve been feeling overwhelmed, stuck in an all-or-nothing mindset, or worried that everyone else has life figured out, this episode is your reminder that you don’t need to abandon yourself to create success. Sometimes the most productive thing you can do is slow down, reconnect with yourself, and trust that showing up imperfectly is more than enough. 14 // What if going all in didn't have to mean burning out?
In this episode, I talk about why so many of us are afraid to fully go after the life we want because we associate hard work, ambition and hustle with burnout. I share what this week brought up for me, how my past experiences with burnout made my body panic when I had a lot on my plate, and the perspective shift that helped me redefine what hustle actually means. For me, hustle is no longer about forcing, overworking or abandoning myself. It is about taking fast, aligned and imperfect action instead of wasting so much energy overthinking, doubting myself and trying to make everything perfect. I also open up about learning to release control, stop obsessing over how everything needs to happen, trust the ideas and desires placed on my heart, and allow myself to take one step at a time. In this episode I cover: · Why perfectionism and overthinking can be more exhausting than the action itself · How to take messy action and treat mistakes as feedback · Why you do not need to know the entire plan before you begin · The difference between giving over control and giving up · Why asking for help does not take away your independence · How to stop seeking permission from others to rest · Why your dream life does not require you to abandon yourself · How to shift from seeing problems to seeing possibilities and opportunities You can be ambitious and rested. You can work hard and still take care of yourself. You can go all in without burning yourself out in the process. 13 // How to Actually Get Out of Overwhelm
If you're an intelligent, capable woman who somehow ends up carrying everything on her own while looking completely fine on the outside, this one's for you. In this episode I'm talking about why overwhelm isn't fixed by doing more, more routines, more regulation tools, more hustle. It's fixed by slowing down enough to take one aligned step at a time, and by finally letting people help you. We talk about: — why asking for help feels like such a big deal, and why it almost never actually is — why nervous system regulation tools stop working when you're dysregulated at the root — fast decision-making, and why delaying a decision creates more anxiety, not less — coming back to the basics: water, movement, connection, joy Coaching spots are open now, if this hit home, send me a DM. 12 // Why You Are Attracting The Same Relationship Patterns
In this episode, I talk about friendships, romantic relationships, and the patterns that show up when you start learning how to express your needs instead of abandoning yourself to keep the peace. I share what I’ve been seeing in my clients, what I’ve learned through my own relationships, and why your needs are not too much, they are simply asking to be honoured. I also open up about people-pleasing, the fear of disappointing others, seeking validation in relationships, and why receiving support can feel so uncomfortable when you’re used to doing everything on your own. In this episode I cover: · Why your needs are valid, even when someone else has different needs · How people-pleasing creates resentment in friendships and dating · Why disappointment doesn’t mean you’ve done something wrong · Why one friend or partner cannot be your whole village · The belief behind feeling “too much,” difficult, or like a burden · How to stop seeking validation from men, friends, or social media · Why receiving support can feel uncomfortable when you’re used to doing everything alone · How the relationship you have with yourself changes every relationship around you Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/michelle.juric/ (https://www.instagram.com/michelle.juric/)

11 // Why the fear of being seen is costing you the life you keep saying you want
In this episode, I get real about what happens when you actually go back and look at your goals — and realise you’ve achieved more than you think. I share my own halfway-through-the-year reflection, what I found in my old goal-setting workbook, and why staying consistent even when nothing seems to be happening is exactly how everything shifts. I also open up about the fear of being seen — where it comes from, why the people most meant to be visible are often the most afraid, and what is literally waiting for you on the other side of that fear. In this episode I cover: •Why perfectionism is keeping you from your desired life •How one imperfect video landed me on live TV and in the newspaper •The compound effect of showing up consistently •What identity shifts actually look like in real life •How to regulate your nervous system so you stop overthinking every decision •Why your fears are literally asking you to evolve Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/michelle.juric/ (https://www.instagram.com/michelle.juric/)

10 // Let Yourself Suck: Why Mistakes Are the Gateway Back to Yourself
In this episode, I reframe the fear of making mistakes and explain why there is no failure — only feedback. I breaks down how the “perfect girl” persona can keep women stuck in people-pleasing, perfectionism, overthinking, and self-sabotage, because they become so focused on being perceived the right way that they stop giving themselves permission to actually live, try, learn, and grow. I explore why making mistakes is an essential part of building self-trust, reconnecting with who you are, and creating a life that feels aligned. Because you don’t find yourself by performing perfection — you find yourself through experience. This episode is your reminder that every mistake can become information, every attempt can become evidence, and every moment of being seen trying can become part of your growth. 9 // Doing Less Is More: Rest, Regulation & Rebuilding Yourself
In this episode, I get really honest about a week that didn’t go to plan — the recording fails, the emotional spirals, and everything it brought up. I dive into why so many women struggle to slow down, what happens in your nervous system when you keep pushing, and why doing less might actually be the key to creating more. I also share a deep limiting belief I uncovered around money and receiving — and the process I used to work through it. This conversation also explores the guilt that comes with rest, how our worth gets tied to productivity, and what it really means to come back to yourself when life feels uncertain. If you’ve ever felt guilty for resting, struggled to receive, or found yourself burning out because you thought doing more made you more worthy — this episode is for you. Inside this episode we talk about: • why women struggle to slow down and what it costs them • nervous system regulation and simple tools to shift your state • the link between self-worth, money, and receiving • how childhood conditioning shapes the beliefs we carry • why slowing down is actually your fastest path forward • learning to find joy in the process instead of waiting for the result Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/michelle.juric/ (https://www.instagram.com/michelle.juric/)

8 // Why You're Blocking More Money, Opportunities & Overflow (And Don't Even Realise It)
In this episode, I’m joined by Alyce for a powerful conversation around money, self-worth, receiving, intuition, investing in yourself, and what it really takes to open yourself up to more. We dive into why so many women say they want more — more money, more freedom, more opportunities, more support — but still find themselves holding back when it comes to actually receiving it. We talk about the deeper patterns behind this, from fear and control to the beliefs we carry around money, safety, self-worth, and what it means to truly back ourselves. This conversation also explores the power of intuition, identity work, nervous system safety, and the shifts that happen when women stop waiting for certainty and start trusting themselves more deeply. If you’ve ever felt afraid to invest in yourself, struggled to receive more, or felt like you were being called into a bigger life but didn’t fully know how to trust it yet, this episode is for you. Inside this episode we talk about: why so many women struggle to invest in themselves the link between money, self-worth, and receiving fear, safety, and scarcity patterns how your identity shapes what you allow yourself to have intuition vs fear and how to tell the difference the power of expanders and being in the right rooms letting go of control and opening yourself to opportunity why backing yourself changes everything Resources mentioned in this episode: Here is the link to the Mini Money Audit: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1akk9FUk8CdrmMqUcE_cMPR1mq7NP2U82/edit?usp=sharing&ouid=115719939310913192926&rtpof=true&sd=true (https://docs.google.com/document/d/1akk9FUk8CdrmMqUcE_cMPR1mq7NP2U82/edit?usp=sharing&ouid=115719939310913192926&rtpof=true&sd=true) Connect with Alyce on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/iamalyceswarts/ (https://www.instagram.com/iamalyceswarts/)

7 // I didn't expect this after moving to Croatia ...
In this episode, I’m taking you behind the scenes of what the last few months have really looked like for me… not just the highlights, but also the moments that challenged me the most. From being on Croatian national TV, to questioning everything I thought I knew about myself, to navigating judgment, identity shifts, and learning how to truly trust my inner voice — this has been a journey of letting go of control and stepping into alignment. I share how perfectionism used to hold me back, why taking messy action changed everything, and what it really looks like to “fail forward” and grow. We also dive into: Why you feel disconnected from yourself How people-pleasing pulls you away from your inner compass What it actually means to trust yourself And why life might not be meant to be lived so fast This episode is your reminder that you don’t need to have it all figured out… you just need to start moving. And maybe more importantly — you’re allowed to have fun again. Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/michelle.juric/ (https://www.instagram.com/michelle.juric/)

6 // This is what happens when you stop playing small
In this episode, I reflect on a week that brought up more than I expected. After sharing something online that reached more people than usual, I found myself navigating a new level of visibility — and with that, a lot of internal shifts. Old fears came up, especially around being seen, being misunderstood, and how quickly the mind can go into wanting to shrink or hold back. But instead of going back into old patterns, I chose to move through it. We talk about the fear of judgment, why you’ll never be able to control how others perceive you, and what it really looks like to stay grounded in yourself when things feel uncomfortable. I also share the unexpected beauty that came from this experience — the connections, new opportunities, and how it all led into one of the most meaningful birthdays I’ve had in years. This episode is a reminder that growth doesn’t always come in the way we expect… but it always shows us where we’re ready to expand. 5 // When everyone said it wouldn't work (I did it anyway)
In this episode, I reflect on the past five months since leaving my life in Australia and starting over in Croatia. It hasn’t been the easiest path, and there were moments where people around me doubted whether it would work. But sometimes the most important thing you can do is trust the voice inside of you, even when others don’t understand your vision yet. I also open up about a powerful realization I had about my parents. For a long time I carried certain expectations and emotions, until I understood that our parents did the best they could with the tools and awareness they had at the time. When we start taking responsibility for our own healing, the relationship we have with them can completely shift. This episode is about self-trust, letting go of other people’s fears, and realizing that the real work begins when we decide to heal ourselves. 4 // From Perfection to Flow
In this episode, I share what happens when you stop striving for perfection and allow yourself to create from flow instead. We explore how perfectionism disconnects us from our bodies, our truth, and our natural expression — and what becomes possible when you soften control and trust what wants to move through you. This is a reminder that your most powerful work doesn’t come from trying harder, but from being more present. 3 // Understanding Relationships Through Body Awareness
In this episode of the Unleash & Align Podcast, I sit down with my dear friend Madi for a deep and honest conversation about relationships and self-connection. We explore how our relationship with our body and intuition shapes the decisions we make, and how subconscious patterns and generational trauma can influence the way we show up in love. Together, we reflect on the role of body awareness in recognizing alignment, safety, and truth within relationships. We also open up a space for self-inquiry around how we know when a relationship has truly served its purpose — and what it means to choose ourselves with clarity and self-trust.

2 // Learning to Trust the Path I Couldn’t See
In this episode, I’m sharing what it looks like to let go of control and trust the path, even when you can’t see the full picture yet. I talk about closing a chapter that no longer felt aligned, processing grief instead of pushing it away, and how following intuitive nudges led me toward breathwork, sound healing, community, and creating the spaces I once needed myself. We dive into why healing doesn’t happen in the mind, but in the body, how breathwork and sound support nervous system regulation, and why women heal so deeply in safe, held spaces. This episode is for you if you’re feeling called to something new, struggling to let go, or learning to trust yourself again. You’re not behind. You’re not lost. You’re being guided. 1 // From Good Girl to Self-Led: A Return to Self-Trust
In this first episode, I share my journey from being the “good girl” — the perfectionist, the people pleaser — to learning how to trust myself again. I talk about why I stopped living for approval, how moving to Australia changed everything for me, and how self-trust ultimately led me back home — and back to myself. This episode is for the woman who feels the pull toward more, but is scared to choose herself. If you’ve ever felt disconnected from your inner voice or afraid to step into your truth, this conversation is for you.
