Frank Busch's Final Conversation (1951–2026)
In memory of Frank Busch (1951–2026). Frank passed away on September 27, 2026. This conversation with Seth Pepper, the swimmer he recruited to Arizona, is the last one Frank recorded, and it is shared in his honor. He almost quit coaching for construction. The Simulation Method | Larry Smith
At ten years old, Larry Smith was simulating full basketball games alone at the park, imagining himself in Madison Square Garden. Thirty-five years later he'd walk through a set of double doors in Arizona and find the 2009 NBA All-Star court sitting inside a private home.Larry is a performance coach and the founder of Club Larry in Phoenix. He's trained Devin Booker, Tyson Chandler, Eric Bledsoe and 49ers receiver Deebo Samuel Sr., and in the final months of Muhammad Ali's life he worked with The Greatest four to five days a week. Getting there meant selling his only car for $1,200 to buy a $350 one-way ticket, walking on at Cincinnati and never playing a minute, and sleeping in the back of a Ford Expedition the night before a 150-man tryout. He and Seth Pepper get into the thing Larry was doing for decades without a name for it: running the simulation. Seeing the room before you're in it. Making the team normal before anyone picks you.

The Easier It Is to Be Good, the Harder It Is to Be Great | Derin McMains
Derin McMains never played a day in the major leagues. Seven years in the Giants organization, five season-ending injuries, as far as Triple-A and no further. He calls it failing at the biggest goal of his life — and says it's the reason he isn't afraid of anything now. Fourteen years later he's a Mental Performance Consultant for the Arizona Diamondbacks and Director of Mental Performance at ReliaQuest. He's built programs for the Giants, the Mariners, and Notre Dame athletics. Seth talks with D-Mac about the framework behind it all: identity determines perspective, perspective determines thoughts, thoughts determine emotions, emotions influence actions. Plus the one-thought reset, what it actually means to compete, why initiative might be the whole secret, and what happens when a generation raised controlling its own narrative walks into a stadium of 70,000 people who won't cooperate. Find Derin on Instagram @dmac_mindset and his show, No Show Dogs, wherever you listen. If this one lands, follow the show — and send it to a friend who needs it.

The GIVE Principle | with Judy Thureson
Judy Thureson didn't start dancing seriously until she was eighteen. Two years later she had an agent, MTV credits, and a world tour — along with a habit of reaching the final round of auditions and then quietly deciding she didn't belong in the room. She takes Seth through the whole arc: the discipline years, the flow state that won her a music video, the man on a bus who told her she could have a career or a life, and the loss of her son Jacob in 2019 — after which she wrote Beautiful Tragedy in eighteen days and started getting calls from strangers who'd read it and changed their minds about dying. Also covered: the GIVE framework she teaches for staying grounded in chaos, what her son taught her about giving from overflow rather than an empty cup, and the car ride to California that redirected her life.Judy Thureson is a transformational coach, the author of Beautiful Tragedy, founder of The Ultimate Experience, and founder of Get It Movement Pilates in Scottsdale and Gilbert, Arizona. You're at the Banquet — But You're on the Menu | Jim Grossman
Jim Grossman has spent decades as the quiet voice in the ears of elite performers — the mentor behind the mentor, including host Seth Pepper himself. In this wide-ranging conversation, he opens up about the hardest transition in all of sport: what happens when the game ends. Jim lays out the three forces underneath every athletic career — process, passion, and relentless adaptation — and makes the case that building a life beyond your sport doesn't compete with your performance, it deepens it. Drawing on Kobe Bryant's reinvention, Mike Sullivan's journey from journeyman to Stanley Cup–winning coach, and Joseph Campbell's Hero's Journey, Jim offers a blueprint for the question every athlete eventually confronts: who am I when I'm no longer the one thing I do? He closes with a heartfelt call to protect the joy — and to build the prevention resources that still don't exist.

There is an AI in You" — Ryan Sweeney on the Inner Game
What if the wisdom that shaped Tom Brady, Steve Kerr, Billie Jean King, and Serena Williams could live in your pocket? Ryan Sweeney — former competitive tennis player, software entrepreneur, and CEO of The Inner Game — joins Seth Pepper to talk about Tim Gallwey's classic The Inner Game of Tennis and how he partnered with Gallwey himself to build an AI-assisted mental performance coach around it. They get into Self 1 vs. Self 2, the famous 60 Minutes demonstration, the paradox of performing better when you're sick or injured, and the formula at the heart of it all: performance = potential − interference. Plus the moment Gallwey looked into a camera and said something about AI that left the whole room speechless. A conversation for athletes, founders, artists, and anyone who's ever gotten in their own way.

Stay Calm in the Chaos: The Mindset That Builds Empires | Dan Fleyshman
He built a public company by 23, lost a top-5 poker empire overnight, and rebuilt something bigger. This is Dan Fleyshman. On this episode of Unlimit Your Potential, Seth Pepper sits down with Dan Fleyshman — the youngest founder of a publicly traded company in history. At 17, Dan turned a $43,000 college fund into a clothing empire and the first-ever zero-sugar, zero-carb, zero-calorie energy drink in 55,000 stores. He went on to build Victory Poker into a top-5 global site — until the U.S. shut down online poker in 2011 and he personally paid back 41,000 players before starting over. What came next is the heart of the conversation: angel investing in 40+ companies, $60M+ in influencer marketing, two best-selling books, and a Guinness World Record–holding toy drive through Trina's Kids Foundation. Dan breaks down the system behind all of it — spotting market inefficiencies, staying calm in the chaos, networking through "forced interactions," and why he's "not scared of death, just scared of time." A masterclass in resilience, relationships, and reach. 🎧 New episodes of Unlimit Your Potential drop weekly. Follow the show so you never miss one.

From Undrafted to the NFL: Chris Streveler on Mindset, Visualization & Resilience
NFL quarterback Chris Streveler joins Seth Pepper on Unlimit Your Potential to talk about the mental game of playing the toughest position in football — from an undrafted free agent in the CFL to starting NFL games, getting cut five times, surviving back-to-back ACL tears, and learning from Aaron Rodgers and Lamar Jackson along the way. Chris breaks down visualization, breath work, how to stay ready when nobody's watching, and the three things he controls every single day: attitude, effort, and work ethic. In this episode of Unlimit Your Potential, host Seth Pepper sits down with NFL quarterback Chris Streveler for an honest, in-depth conversation about the mindset behind playing professional football — and the principles that carry over into every part of life. Chris went undrafted out of college, spent his early career in the CFL where he won a Grey Cup with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers, and earned his way onto an NFL roster the hard way. Along the way, he was cut five times, played in the same quarterback rooms as Aaron Rodgers and Lamar Jackson, and tore his ACL in back-to-back seasons. In this conversation, he opens up about all of it. You'll hear the story of how he made the New York Jets after being told he was just a "camp arm" — and threw three game-winning touchdown passes in the preseason after going three weeks without a single rep. You'll hear what Aaron Rodgers taught him about quarterback vision ("if you're trying to see everything, you're seeing nothing"), what made Lamar Jackson's greatness feel different in the building, and the mental tools Chris uses to stay ready when his name isn't called. Chris and Seth also dig into visualization, breath work, the trap of social media validation, and why "staying off the rollercoaster" is the leadership principle that's defined his career. The episode closes with Chris announcing his retirement from the NFL and sharing what's next — including his new dating app Going Steady, his quarterback coaching business, and his speaking work. What I Did Isn't Who I Am: Mark Immelman on Identity, the Masters, and the Four Pillars of Elite Performance
CBS Sports golf analyst Mark Immelman on identity, elite performance, and the Masters | Unlimit Your Potential Ep. 3 Two-time NCAA Division I champion, longtime D1 head coach, CBS Sports golf analyst, and host of the On the Mark Golf Podcast — Mark Immelman joins Seth Pepper for one of the most candid conversations on golf, mindset, and identity you'll hear this year. Mark coached his younger brother Trevor Immelman to the 2008 Masters Championship, and in this episode he tells the untold story for the first time in this format: the three putters in the bag, the plastic ball marker, and the conversation in the kitchen that changed everything. He also shares the Larry Mize moment that reframed his entire relationship with achievement — "Winning the Masters is what I did. Winning the Masters is not who I am." Along the way, Mark and Seth (two-time NCAA runner-up swimmer and brother of a national champion) dig into why coaches see greatness that athletes can't see in themselves, what separates Tiger Woods, Rory McIlroy, and Scottie Scheffler at the top of the game, the four pillars Mark believes every elite performance is built on, and how to find a healthy relationship with failure. "You'll Never Reach Your Potential Until…" — Ken Crenshaw on Greatness, Not-Enoughness, and 38 Years Inside Pro Baseball
What does it actually take to perform at the highest level — and stay human while you do it? In Episode 2 of Unlimit Your Potential, host Seth Pepper sits down with Ken Crenshaw, Director of Sports Medicine and Performance for the Arizona Diamondbacks and one of the most respected figures in Major League Baseball. But this conversation isn't really about baseball. It's about the freshman-year moment that rewired Ken's life, the framework he calls "not-enoughness," and why the greatest athletes he's ever worked with are the ones who learned to play for the love of the game — not to prove anyone wrong. Seth and Ken go deep on: – Why a coach refused to promote him to varsity — and how it changed everything– The hidden cost of "not-enoughness" in elite performers– How parents are unknowingly sabotaging their young athletes– What Paul Goldschmidt does in the dugout that nobody else does– Why "simple hard" beats talent every time– The next-play mentality and how it translates to life off the field– Building the ultimate team — in sports, in business, and at home Whether you're an athlete, a coach, a parent, a leader, or someone trying to figure out what's actually been holding you back — this one will sit with you. 🎙 ABOUT THE PODCASTUnlimit Your Potential with Seth Pepper is a podcast about the mindset, mechanics, and moments behind elite performance — in sport, business, and life.
