Unmasked by Toltec Wisdom is a space where we unlearn, relearn, and become — together.
This podcast is a reflection of my personal spiritual and physical journey, rooted in the timeless truths of Toltec wisdom. I share what I’ve lived, not just what I’ve learned — the real, raw, and beautiful process of how I found peace and how I continue to live it in a world filled with noise and chaos.
You won’t be asked to believe anything dogmatically. Instead, take the wisdom shared here as an invitation to investigate your own life. If it resonates, use it. If not, leave it.
Episode Description:
We treat love like an investment portfolio — we go in optimistic, excited, convinced this one's different. And most of the time, it ends the same way every investment gone wrong does: disappointment.
In this episode, I get into why that cycle keeps repeating, and the uncomfortable truth at the center of it — you can't genuinely love someone while you're needy. Neediness isn't love, it's dependency wearing love's clothes. Real, deep love only becomes possible once you're not needing the other person to complete you, fix you, or fill some void.
I also unpack something most of us don't want to admit: a lot of what we call "love" is really just desire. We want sex, we want closeness, we want to be wanted — and we dress it up in the language of love because that sounds better than what it actually is.
This one's a bit of a mirror. Come sit with it.

The Dark Sides Of Meditation
The Dark Sides of Meditation
Meditation is sold as an unqualified good — clarity, peace, awakening. Rarely do we talk about what happens when it goes wrong. In this episode, I look at the underside of the practice that rarely makes it into the marketing.
We cover depersonalization and disorientation that can follow sustained practice, and the strange phenomenon of people convincing themselves they're "better off" — sometimes to the point of abandoning their families to follow a guru. We talk about the loss of motivation that can creep in when stillness is mistaken for the goal itself, and we don't shy away from the darkest edge of this: meditation's link to suicide in some practitioners.
I also break down directed thought as a form of meditation in its own right, and why so many people chase the total cessation of thought — the "no-thought" experience — without asking whether that's actually the point, or even possible.
As always: don't take my word for any of this. Sit with it, test it against your own experience, and keep only what holds up.

Meditation for beginners part 2
Meditation for Beginners, Part 2
Meditation isn’t foreign to your faith — it already lives inside it, whether you pray, prostrate, chant, or sit in silence. In this episode, I strip away the religious labels and go straight to the mechanics: what’s actually happening when a Muslim repeats a name, a monk breathes with a mantra, or a Christian kneels in prayer. I unpack the real difference between a trance and the genuine “gap between thoughts” — one dims your awareness, the other sharpens it — and why that confusion has misled so many seekers. I also make the case that meditation was never really about chasing bliss or reaching some rare mystical state; the deeper work is realizing how conditioned you are, how much of “you” was inherited rather than chosen, and learning to sit at peace whether stillness comes or it doesn’t. If you’ve ever wondered whether meditating means abandoning your beliefs — it doesn’t. It means finally being present for what you already do.
