Join us to connect with the coolest builders in the world who make the unreasonable happen. Like quitting a powerful job at a huge company. Or running to be the youngest mayor of a city. Let’s be unreasonable, unpolished, and unscared together!
Why do you always know what’s next, Faith Popcorn?
Futurist Faith Popcorn – 50 years of predictions, 95% right, she says – on AI under your skin, why she trusts no system, and how her childhood taught her to see the future.

More on this episode:
Faith Popcorn, one of the original futurists and founder of BrainReserve, has been predicting the future for more than fifty years, with a claimed accuracy rate of 95%. She coined the term “cocooning” – now in the dictionary – and predicted home delivery, remote work, and bottled water decades before they went mainstream.
In the second episode of UNREASONABLE, Felix sits down with her in Austin, Texas, for a wild, wide-ranging ride that starts with her name – “people think I’m married to a popcorn” – and ends with the emotional economy.
From a childhood in Shanghai to raising two adopted Chinese daughters at 55 and 61, from advising Fortune 500 CEOs to keeping cash at home in case the system collapses, Faith is as unreasonable as they come.
“I’m an alien. I don’t have age. So I live in the future.”
This episode is a reminder that the future is rarely seen first by the reasonable people in the room.

Why are you always the unreasonable person in the room, Andy Pearson?
For the inaugural episode of UNREASONABLE, Felix sits down with Andy Pearson, Creative Director at Liquid Death, ultra-runner, and the person who inspired the name of this podcast.
Andy believes creativity starts where comfort ends and strives to be the unreasonable person in the room. That extends from ordering the weirdest dish he can find on a restaurant menu to running 200-mile races into the dark. At work, it led him to co-create Liquid Death, a water-can company – a seemingly unreasonable venture that changed an entire industry and became one of the most recognizable brands in America.
Andy shares his method, how it has become addictive, in a good way – and why the future belongs to people bold enough to be unreasonable. We couldn't think of a better guest to start with!
