Unscripted: The Brown Table is where real conversations happen. Hosted by a family of four (mom, dad and their two teens [18 and 14]) — this podcast brings multiple generations together to talk about everything from current events and culture to music, politics, and life’s everyday moments. Nothing is scripted, and every voice at the table matters. With perspectives that blend wisdom, curiosity, humor, and honesty, each episode invites you to pull up a chair and join the discussion.
Nine months. That’s how long the Brown Table has been quiet. But we’re back, and apparently we decided to ease into things by talking about… absolutely nothing light.
In our first episode since December 2025, we dive into the Lindsay Clancy trial and the difficult questions surrounding mental health, criminal responsibility, and justice. Then, as America marks 25 years since 9/11, we compare what that day means to those of us who lived through it versus a generation that only knows it as history.
And finally, one year after the assassination of Charlie Kirk, we talk about where the country is now, what has changed, what hasn’t, and how his death continues to shape conversations around politics, culture, and free expression.
Three generations. Three very different conversations. Plenty of disagreement, perspective, and probably a few interruptions along the way.
The Brown Table is officially back. Pull up a chair.

Episode 2 - Fear of Speech or Freedom of Speech?
Unpacking the fallout of Jimmy Kimmel getting pulled from ABC and a so-called constitutional crisis. At the end of the day, we have the freedom to speak our minds but we aren’t free from the consequences - employers can fire employees for saying things they don’t agree with or damage their brand. This is how things work - the first amendment protects citizens against the government restricting or preventing us from being able to speak freely. We need to get back to the concept of the marketplace of ideas.
