   Beyond the Red Flags

Beyond the Red Flags Red flags aren’t the problem… ignoring them is. Think about it: Your date’s phone might be louder than his voice. “Whatever makes you happy” = 🚩 (we all know it). Confidence whispers, insecurity screams—guess which one flexes the car? The way he treats a waiter is exactly how he’ll treat you one day. This episode isn’t about avoiding dating disasters—it’s about seeing the truth behind the small stuff, and laughing about it later. Because every red flag is basically a free personality test. And here’s the kicker: before you try to decode anyone else, try decoding yourself. Most of us ignore the signs not because we can’t see them, but because we’re scared of what they mean. So we’re talking presence, money talk, judgmental vibes, ex-bashing, and finally—why mindset (fixed vs growth) is the real game changer. At the end of the day, loving yourself first makes dating way easier… and way less dramatic. Red flags = free personality tests. Phones, money, waiters: they all say more than words. “Whatever makes you happy” isn’t care—it’s avoidance. Flashy doesn’t mean confident. It usually means panic. Stop judging, start noticing. Understanding them starts with understanding you.

Harassment, the Toilet Twist, and Dating Disasters

From workplace harassment to scrubbing toilets, and from dating app adventures to the messy truths of love — this Ruby.B.Good dives into Hu Chuangchuang’s fearless, funny, and unfiltered journey. It’s about speaking up, starting over, and laughing in the middle of life’s storms. Harassment, the Toilet Twist, and Dating Disasters What happens when you speak up about workplace harassment… and end up scrubbing toilets? In this raw and unpredictable episode, Hu Chuangchuang — my former personal assistant and a quick-witted Gen Z woman — shares the story of how a shocking incident, a bizarre reassignment, and a forced move away from her hometown shaped her in unexpected ways. We dig into self-worth, boundaries, sex, love, and how self-awareness can turn chaos into clarity. The conversation explores the historical context of ADHD, famous figures who have it, and various coping strategies and treatments available. Ruby emphasizes that ADHD is not a disease but rather a different way of thinking that can lead to creativity and unique advantages. The episode concludes with a message of hope and encouragement for those with ADHD. Takeaways ADHD is often misunderstood as a childhood disorder, but many adults also experience it. Common symptoms of ADHD include forgetfulness, impulsivity, and emotional instability. ADHD individuals often have a unique way of thinking that can lead to creativity and innovation. Historical perspectives on ADHD have evolved, with changing definitions and understandings over time. Famous figures like Einstein and Michael Phelps have openly discussed their experiences with ADHD. Coping strategies for ADHD include exercise, mindfulness, and understanding one's unique brain function. ADHD is not a disease but a different neurological makeup that can be embraced. Neuroplasticity allows individuals with ADHD to adapt and change their behaviors over time. Support from family and educators is crucial for individuals with ADHD to thrive. Understanding and acceptance of ADHD can lead to better outcomes for those affected. Sound Bites "ADHD is not just for children." "Emotional ups and downs are very big." "ADHD is not a disease." "ADHD people have a lot of creativity." "ADHD people can think outside the box." "ADHD can lead to unique advantages." "Imagination is more important than knowledge." "Neuroplasticity allows for unlimited possibilities." "Exercise is key for adjusting emotions." "ADHD is a unique prelude to exploration." Chapters 00:00 Introduction to ADHD and Its Misconceptions 05:59 Understanding ADHD Symptoms in Adults 11:49 The Mechanism Behind ADHD 18:02 Historical Context of ADHD 24:07 ADHD: A Different Perspective 29:59 Famous Figures with ADHD 35:47 Coping Strategies and Treatments for ADHD 53:55 Conclusion and Final Thoughts on ADHD
