Three girls, a book, and (occasionally) a very grumpy dog. Join them for a weekly book club podcast as they tackle popular books, including Fourth Wing, Throne of Glass, and much, much more.
Chapter 22 pulses with tension and heat, the kind that coils low in my stomach and makes every look feel charged, because Violet is balancing on that razor edge between fear and desire as the stakes keep climbing. Power crackles through the scene—not just magic and dragons, but the way Xaden’s presence presses in on her, dark, dangerous, and impossible to ignore, every word and glance promising trouble she absolutely wants. It’s all sharp breaths, lingering touches that almost happen, and the thrill of knowing one wrong move could mean death or delicious disaster, and honestly, that mix of danger and attraction makes my pulse race just reading it.

Fourth Wing Ch 20-21: Everyone’s Fine?
In today's chapter Tori, Greta, and Psy from Gandam style discuss the events of Chapter 20. Chapter 20 takes a “simple training session” and sets it on fire. Violet is forced to confront her growing power under Xaden’s watch, and every correction feels loaded, every moment of closeness intentional. The chapter thrives on unspoken tension—looks that linger, silences that scream, and restraint that feels harder than any physical challenge. Nothing technically happens, but everything almost does, and that’s the real damage. By the end, the rules are still intact—but the slow burn has officially crossed into dangerous territory, leaving readers feral and emotionally compromised

Fourth Wing Ch 19: Timey Wimey
Today, the crew of Tori, Greta, and Greg read chapter 19. Violet Sorrengail faces escalating danger as dragon politics, rider rivalries, and brutal Basgiath training collide. Tension between Violet and Xaden Riorson sharpens, blending mistrust, attraction, and power struggles. Violet’s physical limitations are tested again, forcing her to rely on strategy and intelligence rather than strength alone. The chapter deepens worldbuilding around dragon bonds and rider hierarchies while raising the stakes for survival
