As millennials and Gen Z, our era is being defined by the culture of hustling, gig economy, "get rich or die tryin" mentality, and the hosts of Untapped/Unhinged are not entirely sure if this culture is actually appealing or if any of this is actually positive. The idea that we have to always be on, or always have to be in the motion of being an entrepreneur is actually draining. Perhaps unpopular opinion for some, but can most definitely blame capitalism. COVID-19 hit us all differently and pushed us to new dating styles in this "new normal" stage of life. In this episode, Nia, Sandie and Matthew discuss the impact this pandemic has had on their dating lives. They share how they adapted in a covid-friendly manner, they share horror stories, as well as their thoughts on flying people out. While some people were able to solidify COVID flings, others viewed this opportunity to network and build platonic friendships, but nevertheless, the pandemic definitely ignited a change in how we view dating.
