Episode 2: The Accidental Exorcist – Mark Gardener
Warning: This episode contains explicit language, horror themes, and graphic scenes.
Welcome back, horror fans, to “Up To Ya Nuts In Guts – Horror Podcast”!
This week, Chris and Clara go full throttle with none other than Mark Gardener, globally known as the “Accidental Exorcist.” If that name sounds familiar, it’s because Mark was the inspiration behind Chris's fifth feature film, The Possessed. In this episode, Mark opens up about the unbelievable journey that led him to discover his rare talent for exorcising demons – a journey that began over 20 years ago. From wild, spiritual encounters to intense, often bizarre rituals, he’s seen and done it all.
Mark also shares the unforgettable moment he tried to exorcise one of Chris's own demons... only to find out that some spirits just don’t want to leave! Guess some demons are here to stay, right, Chris?
In true “Up To Ya Nuts” style, things get even wilder as Mark recounts some of his craziest exorcism stories, from monks engaging in soul-wrenching acts to some seriously disturbing encounters, including a rather nasty demon possessing his wife.
So buckle up, legends! This episode is packed with big laughs and gross-out moments, and yes, Chris goes there. 100%.
