We all go through seasons in life. Some seasons feel like a blessings are chasing you down every street. Others feel like a constant struggle just to take one step. It is important to remember that the season doesn't dictate our love. When life turns sour, it is the two of you - undivided - taking it on. And when favor is abounding, you both dance in celebration. When you focus on the journey that God has you on, all types of seasons will come. The important part is to remember that you do it together.

We Stand on the Shoulders of Giants
We often talk about what our relationship foundations look like. What have our parents and grandparents planted and cultivated in us?
We also talk about what we are striving to leave for our children and grandchildren. Will they be good spouses and parents?
In this episode, we talk about some of those foundational bricks, and how it is ok to toss some of those blocks out. We do not have to become the people that raised us. We can celebrate the good lessons, and choose to discard, or repair, the things that don't suit us. We will always advocate for praying for guidance on what to keep, toss, or repair. Our ceiling will be our children's floor. All of us can strive and work to be better.
