In this episode, I have a conversation with Jennifer Avancena of Calajo Catering about our home grown relationship with food. Jennifer reminds us that our experiences with cultural representation differs amongst each other, even when it boils down to how we prepare and serve our food.

Episode 1: How one's environment affects their multilingualism
In this episode, I ask my dad about his experience knowing how to speak multiple languages. Unsurprisingly, moving to the States made it difficult to continue communicating in his native tongue. What I didn’t expect, was that he had gradually spoken less Ibaloi and Kankanaey before he moved away from the Cordillera.
