How do we navigate social media as a Christ follower? How should we approach trends, present ourselves, comment on cultural moments, or even view cancel culture through a biblical lens? These are questions I longed to have answered, but found few resources that could help. That’s why I started upside down influencer: to spark these conversations, provide biblical guidance, and leave space for believers to develop their own convictions. You’re an influencer. For an upside down Kingdom. Will you join me?
Social Media Burnout: How to Run Your Race to the End
We see a lot of "how to grow on social media" but not nearly enough about how to endure. If social media is an extension of our ministry, or even our ENTIRE ministry (lol, me) how do we stay spiritually, mentally, and emotionally healthy enough to keep showing up faithfully without burning out?In this episode of Upside Down Influencer, I’m joined by Christian life coach Alexandra Kaval to explore a healthier, more sustainable approach to creating online. We talk about separating our identity from our content’s performance, recognizing when obedience turns into striving, navigating comparison, and building rhythms and boundaries and spotting signs of burnout before it even happens. How can we serve the people God has called us to reach without social media consuming us in the process? Let’s get into it.

Christian Influencers: Are You Selling Out for the Algorithm?
Are you selling out for the algorithm? If you don’t show up for a day… does that stress you out? What does it mean to be trusting in God OVER the algorithm? AND how do we manage the tension of adopting worldly social media tactics (because they often work), vs doing things in a God honoring way that might not reap the same "success?"

Should Christians Post THAT? Discerning What We Share Online.
What does it look like to discern rightly when it comes to what we post on social media? How do we know what’s wise, what’s beneficial, and what simply might not be for us to post? Let’s talk about it. I also chat about the oversimplification of what we see online and why we need to be careful about looking at someone’s post and immediately telling other Christians to “stop acting like Pharisees.” Lastly, I share some thoughts on a few recent conversations happening in Christian social media culture. My prayer is that this episode can help us think a littleeee bit deeper about how we show up online. Get connected with me!
