NRL FANTASY & SUPERCOACH MATCHUPS TO TARGET & WAIVER WIRE ADVICE | Round 25 2026

Reece Walsh is out, Tommy Turbo is back and Round 25 is one of the most cut and dry matchup weeks of the NRL Supercoach and NRL Fantasy finals series. https://youtu.be/aD-TCx6cb-4Kalyn Ponga, Billy Smith, Herbie Farnworth, Robert Toia, Dominic Young, Nicholas Hynes, Terrell May, Blayke Brailey, Hamish Stewart, Haumole Olakau'atu and Ryan Couchman are all sitting at number one of sixteen in their position matchups this week. Hudzo breaks down every Round 25 finals game using the Draft Oracle statistical matchup engine, with some genuine slaughters on the card this week making the sit/start decisions clearer than they have been all finals series. The matchup analysis is equally relevant for NRL Supercoach Classic and NRL Fantasy managers chasing the right captaincy and sit/start calls before lockout. The captaincy conversation this week sits between Nicholas Hynes, Sam Walker and James Tedesco for the captain armband, with Nathan Cleary, Jamayne Isaako and Kalyn Ponga all in the vice captain conversation depending on your squad. With some genuinely one-sided matchups on the card this week, backing the right captain in the right game could be the difference between winning and losing your finals series. Hudzo walks through the full case for each option so you know exactly where to land. On the waiver wire, this is more of a sit versus start week than a burn your priority week, but Taine Tuapiki is the name worth assessing for managers who need halves cover with the Walsh news confirmed. With Tommy Turbo returning, the downstream impact on surrounding players gets the full treatment, and we identify who you can actually rely on through a finals week where getting the basics right matters more than chasing upside. In this video: 🏆 Round 25 finals matchup analysis: positional breakdowns across every game ⚡ Kalyn Ponga, Nicholas Hynes and Herbie Farnworth: gun matchups assessed 👑 Captaincy picks: Hynes, Sam Walker or Tedesco captain, Cleary and Ponga VC options 🏃 Tommy Turbo returns: downstream impact on your roster and sit/start decisions 🚑 Reece Walsh out: who fills the void and what it means for your squad 🔄 Taine Tuapiki: worth a top waiver for halves cover this week? 🎯 Sit versus start focus: who you can actually rely on through the finals 💥 Slaughter matchups on the card: the cut and dry calls this week ⚠️ Matchups and positions to avoid in Round 25 Built for: NRL Supercoach Classic | NRL Supercoach Draft | NRL Fantasy | NRL Draft leagues Full Round 25 matchup breakdown with live data: https://draft-oracle.com/matchups (https://draft-oracle.com/matchups) 🔮 Draft Oracle, NRL Supercoach League Analysis | Upside Fantasy Sports 📩 Substack: https://upsidefantasysports.substack.com (https://upsidefantasysports.substack.com) 🐦 @UpsideSC on X: https://x.com/UpsideSC (https://x.com/UpsideSC) 📸 @sc.draft.oracle on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/sc.draft.oracle/ (https://www.instagram.com/sc.draft.oracle/)

NRL FANTASY & SUPERCOACH MATCHUPS TO TARGET & WAIVER WIRE ADVICE | Round 24 2026

Youtube Version: https://youtu.be/2fMyEE2E764 Finals are in full swing and Round 24 captaincy is genuinely wide open, with Kalyn Ponga the standout captain pick and Nicholas Hynes the bounce-back vice captain call that Hudzo is backing hard this week. Keano Kini, Alex Johnston, Valentine Holmes, Jack Bostock, Jamayne Isaako, Nicholas Hynes, Terrell May, Blayke Brailey, Hamish Stewart, Haumole Olakau'atu and Ryan Couchman are all sitting at number one of sixteen in their position matchups this week. Hudzo breaks down every Round 24 game using the Draft Oracle statistical matchup engine, giving you the sit/start and captaincy clarity you need before lockout across NRL Supercoach Classic, Supercoach Draft and NRL Fantasy. The matchup analysis is equally relevant for Classic and Fantasy managers chasing the right captaincy and sit/start calls in what is a genuinely tricky finals week. The captaincy picture this week centres on Kalyn Ponga as the outright captain pick, with Nicholas Hynes as the preferred vice captain for managers expecting a bounce-back performance. Nathan Cleary into Hynes and Adam Doueihi into Ponga are both sensible alternatives depending on your squad. Keano Kini is the absolute moonshot captaincy option and we give you the full case for why the brave call could pay off in a finals context where differentials matter more than ever. On the waiver wire in finals, process matters more than hindsight and we explain exactly how to think about waiver priority when elimination is on the line. Francis Manuleleua and Luke Metcalf are ranked against each other for the number one spot, with Leka Halasima and Salesi Foketi both still viable options and assessed in order of preference. Liam Henry emerges as a genuine saviour for managers who are front row needy, and the halves and five-eighth market gets another scan for the options worth prioritising. The CTW position remains difficult but there are a couple of big matchup plays this week that are worth acting on after waiver lockout. In this video: 🏆 Round 24 matchup analysis: statistical positional breakdowns across every NRL finals game ⚡ Keano Kini, Nicholas Hynes and Kalyn Ponga: gun matchups and captaincy cases 👑 Captaincy picks: Ponga captain, Hynes VC bounce-back and the Kini moonshot 🧠 Finals waiver strategy: why process beats hindsight when elimination is on the line 🔄 Francis Manuleleua vs Luke Metcalf: who takes the number one waiver spot? 🎯 Leka Halasima and Salesi Foketi: still viable and ranked in order of preference 💪 Liam Henry: the front row saviour for FRF-needy managers in finals 🔍 Halves and five-eighth options scanned again for finals priority 🎯 CTW matchup plays: the big ones worth acting on this week ⚠️ Matchups and positions to avoid in Round 24 Built for: NRL Supercoach Classic | NRL Supercoach Draft | NRL Fantasy | NRL Draft leagues Full Round 24 matchup breakdown with live data: https://draft-oracle.com/matchups 🔮 Draft Oracle, NRL Supercoach League Analysis | Upside Fantasy Sports 📩 Substack: https://upsidefantasysports.substack.com 🐦 @UpsideSC on X: https://x.com/UpsideSC 📸 @sc.draft.oracle on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/sc.draft.oracle/
