Op 17 maart was er een hele mooie bijeenkomst georganiseerd door de verenigingen INSAN en UPSV: een iftar maaltijd die werd voorafgegaan door twee lezingen gerelateerd aan de Ramadan. Een prachtig initiatief van erkenning en verbinding waar we in deze aflevering op terugkijken met Amine Lakhal, voorzitter van de studentenvereniging INSAN, en Rachel Veerbeek, assessor I van de studievereniging U.P.S.V. Tamar Aprahamian en Sonja El Yandouzi zijn de hosts van deze UU-podcast over inclusiviteit in het onderwijs. We brengen onze eigen ervaringen in als eerstegeneratiestudent met een migratieachtergrond, en vertellen over activiteiten in het onderwijs rondom Equity, Diversity en Inclusivity (gelijkheid, diversiteit en inclusie), vaak afgekort tot EDI. Tamar is beleidsadviseur onderwijs en Sonja is docent farmacie. Beiden zijn werkzaam bij de faculteit Bètawetenschappen van de Universiteit Utrecht. We maken deze podcast om te vertellen over het belang van EDI in het onderwijs en EDI-activiteiten binnen de UU, waarin we ook open over onze eigen ervaringen vertellen. De onderwerpen omvatten het brede spectrum van diversiteit. Deze podcast is voor iedereen die interesse heeft in inclusiviteit in het onderwijs!
