The Goonies II is a platformer at heart with a dash of "first person" perspective in the vein of Shadowgate or Deja Vu. The bulk of the game plays out as the player runs around random maps (like volcanoes, icy mountains or the obligatory underwater level) using various doors, vines, and ladders as a means of getting from one area to the next. The Goonies II was developed and published by Konami and released in Japan on March 18, 1987; in North America in November 1987; and in Europe on December 19, 1988.

UUDD Ep 0201 (The Legend Of Zelda)
This is the original adventure that kicked off an epic franchise! But like everything else, it has an origin, and many origins of other series can't hold up the way this game has. This game is also all about conquering. You'll take on a tough dungeon boss and eventually win, or possibly a huge group of enemies and eventually win. Your eventually bettered equipment will give you the needed edge over the bad guys, which gives you a feeling of accomplishment not many games can match.

Episode 6 (TMNT)
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is a single-player action game. The player starts the game as Leonardo, but can switch to any of the other Turtles at any time by pressing the Start button to access the information screen. The information screen shows each Turtle's health, whatever special weapon he has obtained, a map grid of the current area, and messages from either Splinter or April. Each turtle's unique primary weapon has different speed, power and reach. When the player's current character runs out of health, falls into a fatal trap, or is run over by a Roller Car, he is captured by the enemy, forcing the player to change to one of the remaining Turtles. The player loses the game when all four Turtles have been captured. There is an opportunity to rescue a captured Turtle once in each stage beginning in Stage 3. There are a total of six stages in the game.

Episode 5 "Ghosts'N Goblins"
Capcom’s Ghosts ‘n Goblins was among that second wave of NES software released in 1986/1987 that really showed advancements in game design. The game’s story and intro are interesting not because it’s good but because of what is implied. Arthur and Princess Prin Prin are having a picnic in a cemetery when Satan whisks her away. In video game land that might as well be another Tuesday. But you have to wonder. Why the hell are they in a cemetery? And why is Arthur in his thong?
