<p>Vaani, the literary and public speaking club of IIM Amritsar welcomes you all to the second episode of our new podcast series. This series will discuss the business, economy, and related contemporary issues with the IIM Amritsar Fraternity, including faculty, students, & alumni.</p> <p>In this episode, the IIM Amritsar Economics faculties will share their vision on Aatmanirbhar Bharat.</p> <p>In order to address the disruption caused in the Indian economy by the COVID-19 pandemic, the Government of India announced a set of measures under the campaign called Aatmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyaan in May 2020. The Atmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyaan or Self-reliant India campaign is the vision of new India envisaged by our Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The aim is to make the country and its citizens independent and self-reliant in all senses. In this discussion, we have further explored the different dimensions of this mission and the way going forward.</p>
