Ghost Villages of Bharat and the key reasons behind ghosting

Baluni, Bhel Dunga, Saina, Gattumeedapalle and Hatkarwadi – are prominent examples of villages in Bharat that have been deserted or nearly depopulated due to extreme Water scarcity, drying natural springs, recurrent droughts, and climate impacts. The individual details, official land areas (from the Census of Bharat and regional land surveys), and state locations for notable depopulated settlements gets covered in this audiobook, authored by Dr. Madhukar Swayambhu, a seasoned corporate leader with over 30+ years of experience (since 1995), an entrepreneur , a startup mentor , a TEDx speaker ( since 2020, 2026), Water Hero awardee by Jal Shakti Mantralaya (2019) – Government of Bharat (India), Planet Hero awarded by EarthDay.Org & IESA (2026). He dedicated the book to the villagers, who were forced to migrate because of the unsustainable lifestyle developed in Bharat post the revolution of 1857.

Reinstating Rural Economy with carefully designed Scientific approach

This podcast presents a transformative approach to rural economics based on the research of Madhukar Swayambhu, which seeks to reverse village poverty by replacing Western industrial dependency with ancient Vaidic principles. The episode highlights a structural trap where farmers buy inputs at a maximum price (MRP) but sell outputs at a minimum support price (MSP), proposing instead a model where villages function as autonomous manufacturing hubs. Central to this revival is a specific scientific intervention known as Cownomics Technology, which uses botanical extracts and solar energy to convert stagnant sewage into a biological asset or "neuro-immuno booster." By treating local waste as a resource rather than a liability, villages can eliminate the need for expensive chemicals, restore natural ecosystems, and establish self-sustaining livelihoods like fisheries. Ultimately, the discussion argues that combining modern microbiology with traditional wisdom creates a scalable, cost-free path to prosperity that restores community ownership and halts the mass exodus to cities.
