<p>Since COVID has stopped the Hillsdale County Fair for the first time in its history, we thought we'd spend some time looking back on past fairs and talking about what the future may have in store. </p> <p>To talk about the decision to cancel this years' fair, we sat down with Lori Hull, Hillsdale County Fair Manager, and life-long fair "resident". Following that, Bob Flynn, General Manager of WCSR 92.1 talks about his quarter-century of broadcasting during fair week, and his experiences at the fair in the years before he became "The Voice of the Fair".</p> <p>Lastly, we share a one-minute soundscape of previous Hillsdale County Fairs - a sixty-second immersion into what this week normally sounds like in Hillsdale, Michigan.<br> <br> </p>

Each week, we'll share stories related to Hillsdale's history in the hopes of fostering a greater interest in not only that topic but local history in general. <br> <br> As we start planning upcoming episodes, we'd love to get your thoughts and suggestions.
