The Demon Called Regret
What if one of the greatest spiritual battles of your life is not happening in your future, but in your past?
In this powerful podcast discussion based on The Demon Called Regret, author, pastor, and prophetic teacher Henry Nwaneri explores one of the most overlooked forces affecting believers today: regret. While most Christians recognize the dangers of fear, doubt, shame, and condemnation, few realize how regret quietly attaches itself to past failures, disappointments, losses, unanswered prayers, broken relationships, and missed opportunities.
Through Scripture, personal testimony, pastoral experience, and profound spiritual insight, this conversation uncovers how regret works, why it is so effective, and how it can slowly drain joy, weaken faith, damage confidence, steal peace, and keep believers emotionally attached to situations God has already forgiven or redeemed.
Listeners will discover the difference between regret and repentance, why God continually creates distance between His people and their failures, and how the enemy works tirelessly to reconnect us to things God intended us to leave behind. Drawing from the lives of David, Peter, Job, Lot, Adam and Eve, and the Prodigal Son, this discussion reveals how God's redemptive plan is always greater than human failure.
The podcast also explores some of the book's most memorable revelations, including:
"God created regret to lead us to repentance. The devil hijacks regret to keep us from redemption."
"God creates distance between us and our failures. Regret spends its life trying to close that distance."
"He reveals to redeem."
"Regret remembers what happened. Redemption remembers what God can still do with what happened."
In addition to biblical insights, Henry shares personal experiences from his own journey, including seasons of disappointment, delayed expectations, unanswered prayers, and moments when regret attempted to steal the joy and purpose God had prepared for him.
Whether you are struggling with regret over marriage, family, ministry, career decisions, finances, missed opportunities, personal failure, or unrealized dreams, this podcast offers practical wisdom, spiritual encouragement, and biblical strategies for moving forward in freedom.
This is more than a discussion about regret.
It is a conversation about redemption.
It is a reminder that your past is not your prison, your failure is not your identity, and your regret is not your destiny.
Join us as we explore how God's grace, truth, and redemption can break the power of regret and help you embrace the future He still has for your life.
