Warum streiken Sie, Herr Weselsky?
Der Streit zwischen der Deutschen Bahn und der Lokführergewerkschaft GDL hält seit Monaten an. Anfang März legten die Lokführer erneut die Arbeit nieder. Die GDL fordert weiterhin eine Absenkung der Wochenarbeitszeit von 38 auf 35 Stunden, bei vollem Lohnausgleich für Beschäftigte im Schichtbetrieb. So weit, so üblich, sollte man meinen. Doch zukünftig will die GDL noch härtere Bandagen aufziehen, wie Gewerkschaftsführer Claus Weselsky ankündigte. Die Rede ist von sogenannten Wellenstreiks. Die sollen der GDL zufolge nicht mehr 48 Stunden im Vorfeld angekündigt werden. Dadurch könnte die Bahn unter Umständen keinen Notfahrplan mehr einsetzen. Reisende würden von den Ausständen also ebenso überrascht wie die Bahn selbst. Wir haben mit dem umstrittenen GDL-Chef über die Hintergründe des Streiks gesprochen. Wir wollten von ihm unter anderem wissen, warum dieser Arbeitskampf so hart geführt wird und weshalb er einem Vorschlag im Schlichtungsverfahren nicht zustimmen möchte.
