Episode 4 with Alyssa Yeoman
Fresh off the press is another amazing episode of “Very Interesting…” On today’s episode, Chris is joined by currently PNW-based (soon to be California based) multi-hyphenate creative Alyssa Yeoman. Alyssa is a creative powerhouse who’s always down for candid conversation, knowing glances and hearty laughs. You can catch them doing standup, podcasting, writing, filming and occasionally more if the price is right. You will never catch her eating capers. Follow their journey as an artist via online and IRL. Join us as we discuss what it’s like being a multi-hyphenate creative, how to overcome feeling burdened by the pressure to stay in a singular lane, the importance of collaboration and exploring new fields, and the double-edged sword that social media has become for creatives. Danny is a PhD graduate from the media and communication department at the University of Michigan. He studied the intersections of race, media, and technology - specifically focusing on Black identity and racial formation in the US.
