Each episode of 'V H US' features host Dirk Marshall having an in-depth talk with various guests about that week's cult film and what it is like to have the profession portrayed (sometimes very loosely) in the film. Dirk Marshall was raised in a mom and pop video store in a small town. Growing up amongst the illustrious backdrop of VHS Box art, he learned about the world from the works of William Friedkin, Frank Henenlotter, and Penelope Spheeris. Now on VH US he sits down with people who's profession is portrayed in a film to talk about what it is like to have that profession and about the film he has assigned them.

[…] I love this whole hospital sequence. Yeah. I do too. It's a wonderful, ultimately unintentional nod to Halloween 2, the Rosenthal film, which I thought was really cool. But also it's just so beautifully shot and intensely shot. And we're getting to see like Michael in the rain, for example, is I think one of the most striking images from this whole film, full of striking images. I love the downtown, the foggy streets that are, it's raining and everything or post rain at that point at the very beginning and it's just such a gorgeous look from the beginning yeah but it's not backing off of the reality of what she's been through and this is where we really start tapping the vein of the grief element in this film yes i think scouts this is my favorite performance from her oh for sure and i think that the way that This is written, the way it's directed, and the way that she delivers it, along with other casts that we're going to get into.
