EP 71- SOAP Proverbs 31-Capable in Christ

EP 71- SOAP Proverbs 31- Capable in Christ A season of SOAP comes to an end! And how much fun it has been! I encourage you to go back and listen to each episode and relive the series. The top 3 downloaded episodes are: Ep 53- the SOAP series kickoff with Pastor Jessica Stallbaum Ep 55- SOAP Proverbs 10 - I pity the Fool! and Ep 56- SOAP Love and gratitude I hope you enjoyed this season of SOAP'ing the bible with me and my guests- if so please let me know! All my links are below and I welcome your feedback. In this final SOAP episode I get the honor of SOAP'ing Proverbs 31 with Angela Cook. This is Angelas' fourth appearance on the Say So with Jeanne show! She has been featured in episodes 28, 30, and 31 which released in November 2020 and was the most downloaded show of all the episodes on this show! She discusses how she has been reading this verse for over 30 years and how this chapter should encourage women. She mentions how this chapter is a type cast of Jesus and hones in on verses 8 and 9 right out of the gate. She parallels this with Luke 4:18-19 and Isaiah 61:1. She points out that scripture has been fulfilled in Jesus and that we get the privilege in living in this time. I point out that there's no mention of the beauty of this woman, only that she wore nice clothing. I comment that this woman would be naturally beautiful on the outside as her internal characteristics shine through- making her countenance strikingly beautiful. We discuss that Jesus is the precursor of our lives and that God sent Him to set captives free and relieve oppression for all people. We agree that when people are spiritually set free by Jesus who is The Truth that makes us free, that they become capable of becoming all that God calls them to be. Living in freedom is a lifestyle that God always intended for us, but worldly culture has historically oppressed all kinds of people since the fall of mankind. God sent Jesus to show us the error in our ways and thinking that one person is better than the other. That God shows no favoritism over His children. Jesus came to bind the prejudice, discrimination and oppression that the world uses to hold people back. When we realize this truth, we can be free from comparing and judging and rest in know that we belong to Jesus. We are His and He loves us right where we are at and we can do the same for others. Angela provides you an opportunity to accept Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior if you haven't already. What an honor! EP 70- Christmas with SPARK- Special Holiday Episode

EP 70- Christmas with SPARK- Special Holiday Episode Merry Christmas! In this special episode I get the honor of collaborating with SPARK Media and the podcast collective. Join us in  this half hour episode. There is a lovely song at the beginning and then Podcast Hosts within the SPARK collective share a few minutes of what Christmas means to us. My recording begins at minute 19:59. I joined SPARK Media with Misty Phillip earlier this year and attended the SPARK Media Conference in May 2021 at the National Religious Broadcaster Convention at the Gaylord in Texas.  I got the opportunity to meet with and brainstorm with like minded Podcasters. I also recorded many episodes while at that conference including Misty Phillip and Derral Eves the Executive Producer of The Chosen TV series. Podcasting has been a fun adventure for the past two years and I give God all the glory for this journey. If you are interested in starting a podcast look no further than Misty Phillip and her team at SPARK! https://www.sparkmedia.ventures (https://www.sparkmedia.ventures). If you said this prayer- you are justified immediately and made right with God.Living a life to glorify God is a life- long journey! But know that right now you are saved and set free from the bondage of sin (including past, present and future sin). Nothing can separate you from the love of God and living in eternity with Him. Did you receive Christ today? If so, Congratulations! It's the best decision you have ever made!

EP 69- LIVE ON AIR! SOAP John 1- Foundation of Faith

EP 69- LIVE ON AIR! SOAP John 1-Foundation of Faith A season of SOAP is back again! The SOAP episodes have been the most downloaded episodes and I am bringing them back! Each Friday I will release a SOAP episode! SOAP is an acronym for Scripture,  Observation, Application, and Prayer. You can journal along as God reveals what He has to say to you each time you SOAP. In this episode I SOAPED John 1- Live ON AIR! I specifically chose this chapter as this episode is being released on Christmas Eve. Many people chose scripture about Jesus's birth in the manger, but not many have heard about the origin of Jesus. The origin was crucial for me to know. Did you know that Jesus existed before He was born? Did you know that in the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God? Do you know Who the Word is? Did you also know that the Word became flesh and dwelt among us? For many years in my early walk as a follower of Jesus I hadn't read this chapter and when I did read it I didn't understand it. It took years of study and being taught about the meaning of this chapter. This chapter has been foundational for my faith because it revealed to me the truth about Jesus. I needed to know these truths because I had a lot of insecurity about my own salvation. If you are not saved or have your own questions about salvation, I hope this SOAP provides clarity for you. And that as you listen you learn more about Jesus, Who He is, How to accept Him, and who He accepts (spoiler alert- He accepts everyone). This SOAP series is in partnership with Morning Breath, which is an East Coast Christian Center drive time devotional in which a Pastor and guest SOAP through scripture ON AIR both on radio and a podcast Mon-Thur.
