CONTENT WARNING: Some discussion of animal cruelty was critical to the investigation and therefore unavoidable. I talked about the child abduction case he took on at the top of the episode, and the parents of astrophysicist Alice Morgan, played by Ruth Wilson. They were found shot dead in their home along with the family's dog. Luther's investigation loops in his supervisor, DSU Rose Teller, and his new partner, DS Justin Ripley, and coincides with developments in his separation from Zoe, his wife, played by Indira Varma, namely her lover Mark North, played by Paul McGann.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">[1:01:30] In Cross Connections, I trace connections for Idris Elba and Ruth Wilson through my media collection. Ep. 108: Tenuous Connections

Plus, with this episode I celebrate cataloging disc 2000 in my Classic Collection.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">I open with my Fuzzy Feature, discussing "Plateau," a third-season episode of "Fringe" in which a neurological lab subject is suspected of committing murders via chain reactions and tenuous connections.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">I talk about "The Second Thousand," the pace of this project as I look back on nearly nine years of this cataloging effort, and the sorts of things I have to look forward to as the cataloging portion of this project is coming to a close.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">In Cross Connections, I track connections through the rather impressive back catalog of Michael Eklund, the lab subject in that episode of "Fringe." Also, "Hung," "Covert Affairs," "The Closer," "Chuck," "The Event," "Criminal Minds," "Cougar Town," "$#*!
