Trotsky versus Jesus: Battle of the AI Millennium - James Tunney

Sign up for 'Views From Underground' Substack for the price of a cup of coffee each month 👉 https://viewsfromunderground.substack.com/ James Tunney left a successful academic career in law to focus on spiritual and artistic development. He has published numerous academic articles and reports, consulted internationally, and presented talks on various aspects of globalisation in many countries around the world. Nowadays, he writes about Mysticism and Scientism. He has also been painting from his studio in Sweden and exhibited in several countries for over a decade. In this interview, James Tunney talks about the ideological conflict between Christianity and revolutionary movements, specifically focusing on the legacy of Leon Trotsky. He argues that both modern corporatism and globalist politics are anti-homeostatic forces that seek to dismantle traditional social structures and objective morality. Tunney suggests that the Catholic Church historically served as a protector of individual dignity and that its theological anthropology is uniquely equipped to resist the rise of technocracy and transhumanism. He draws a distinction between the rebel, who maintains a spiritual foundation, and the revolutionary, whose nihilism paves the way for a post-human future. Ultimately, Tunney advocates for a return to spiritual consciousness and the incarnation as the only effective defenses against a looming totalitarian era driven by artificial intelligence. Nathaniel Gillis: Rituals

Nathaniel Gillis is a demonologist, author and lecturer. After living in a haunted house, Nathaniel spent 20 years researching what it was he encountered. Nathaniel has sought to redefine the nature of haunting phenomena, ghosts and high strangeness. As one of the thought leaders in his field, Nathaniel's hypothesis is not that aliens are demons but that a singular intelligence has worn both as masks in which to hide. In fact, he is often quoted for his concept of the phenomenon...."The reason they are playing by different rules is because they are playing a different game." Barrie Schwortz: The Shroud of Turin (Part 2)

I was lucky enough to interview Barrie Schwortz on two separate occasions before he died in 2024. Barrie was a kind man. After the interviews we stayed on talking for nearly an hour combined and I found him extremely congenial and down-to-earth. May he rest in peace. Barrie was the Official Documenting Photographer for the Shroud of Turin Research Project (STURP), the team that conducted the first in-depth scientific examination of the Shroud in 1978. He played an influential role in Shroud research and education as the editor and founder of the internationally recognized Shroud of Turin Website (www.shroud.com), the oldest, largest and most extensive Shroud resource on the Internet, with more than fifteen million visitors from over 160 countries. In 2009 he founded the Shroud of Turin Education and Research Association, Inc. (STERA, Inc.), a non-profit 501(C)(3) corporation, to which he donated the website and his extensive Shroud photographic collection, as well as many other important Shroud resources, in order to preserve and maintain these materials and make them available for future research and study. He served as the President of STERA, Inc. Here is the second interview I did with him.
