"Over the past few years, it has obviously advanced by leaps and bounds, but it is still fundamentally trying to solve that same problem. What is the next best based token in a string? And to me that just doesn't sound like the right foundation for intelligence. I know Sam Altman and others have claimed that we are all stochastic parrots at some level, but for whatever reason, I'm not quite convinced that's not how I think about the world and reason about the world."

"It's kind of opposite of that. And things that 20 years ago you thought, okay, that's really much further in future, but some other things will be more doable. This AI has shown that it can be quite the opposite."

"And he's, I think he's joining Ronsellar Polytechnic Institute because they are one of the few places that actually has multi qubit on prem computer, probably the only one at the university, and they're doing advanced research in that space. I was pretty impressed that the kid is taking a decision based on very specific area of research that he wants to go into. That's quite cool. So, yeah, I think if any of you have met him recently or not met him, let me know."

"Those. When I look at us and UK right now, it seems very similar. Us movies are far superior, but british tv seems to be making much better quality tv series and drama series. You have that Sherlock, for example. That is a great one. There's whole Agatha Kishti Kirpura series that they make so many detective tv series as well. And a lot of newer ones are out there which are extremely good quality as well. Shetland is a."

"When I visited Rome last year, one of the highlights of my trip was the incredible coffee. Almost anywhere in the city you went to, you could not go wrong. Two of the best coffee shops I found were coincidentally very close to the pantheon, so if you're visiting Rome as a tourist and go to the pantheon, you should definitely not miss these places."

"And what he does is he spends time talking to doctors and scientists and goes into a lot of, I would say, detail, technical detail of that. Technical is the right word, or medical detail, if you will, of everything when it comes to longevity. But maybe longevity is not the right word, but it's living healthier as you age is."

"I think, talking about three body problem, there's one concept in the book that I hope I don't give too much away when I talk about this is the whole concept of why. So very early on in the book, the scientists are starting to see these numbers at a countdown, and scientists are dying. And it's not clear why that's happening, what's leading to."

"I thought that was a very clever workaround, albeit also the least plausible one, since in terms of what they're talking about, this is probably something that we'll never actually find out to be true later. See, a lot of Sci-Fi books are come up with ideas that eventually, later on turns out to be possible or plausible, and it's just that they are ahead of the times."

"So it kind of goes against my build once, use forever philosophy. So yeah, in those are some of the ways how, I would say engineering has taught me things in life, or I applied things from engineering to life, especially around seeking efficient, sustainable solutions, though it may not go down well with the rest of our household. But it works for me."

"Just breaking down an unfamiliar and scary thing into smaller components, trying to think about how they interact, trying to think about what the required inputs or data is, and ultimately, the output that you're trying to get to. It just happens almost subconsciously, because you get trained on doing that as an engineer and just approach every sort of aspect of your life that way."

"One thing that I learned as an engineer, and I've found invaluable in all aspects of my life, is linear algebra. Or more accurately, the way linear algebra teaches you to look at the world. I consider the linnal course I took one of the most useful courses I took during my undergraduate education at the Indian Institute of Technology in Kanpur. The fun fundamental concept that I learn was that of resolving any complex property into its mutually independent basis vectors."
