According to the Wall Street Journal, until November the app would have had access to the MAC addresses of its Android users. These addresses are unique codes for each device and cannot be changed. Europe wants to decide who will pay for the damage of artificial intelligence, thinking of revising the laws on producer liability.<br />Last 19th February the European Commission published its white paper on Artificial Intelligence. A European strategy on the development of artificial intelligence in Europe was long awaited since it was announced as a priority of the new von der Leyen Commission.
