Podcast description
The Vineyard Nordic Podcast is a platform created to encourage regular communication and storytelling amongst all church communities in the Nordic region beyond the existing annual gatherings such as summer camps and conferences.
Podcast episodes will be released regularly throughout the year and hosted by the Vineyard Nordic’s very own Jon Skoglund. Each episode will be built around an interview conducted by Jon with a guest both from throughout the Nordic movement and international friends of the Vineyard Nordic.
God is really on the move in many churches and within the various ministry areas and with this podcast we want to capture and communicate these stories and hopefully inspire people in the Vineyard Nordic and beyond.

Missions with Maj and Steve from Vineyard for hope
Welcome back to a new episode of the Vineyard Nordic Podcast!
In this episode, Jon is talking to Maj and Steve from Aarhus Vineyard, who are active in the missions ministry within Aarhus Vineyard called Vineyard for Hope. Maj and Steve talk about their own stories related to missionary work and what they have learned through those experiences. They bring up valuable points when it comes to serving in missions, such as: having a heart shattered for a specific cause, understanding that every christian has valuable skills and can be a missionary right where they are, that mission is LOVE IN ACTION, and so much more.
Maj and Steve also update us on the work that is happening in Vineyard for Hope, and talk about the organizations that they currently have chosen to support, such as Love Justice International. They also share the dreams and plans they have for the future of the missions ministry. This is a motivational episode that challenges us to step out and show God’s love through our actions and through the causes that break our hearts.

Spiritual formation and reconciliation with Alexander Venter
Welcome back to a new episode of the Vineyard Nordic Podcast!
In this episode Jon is joined by Alexander Venter. Alexander is an experienced church leader, theologian and church planter who lives in Johannesburg together with his wife Gill. He has inspired many people with books such as: Doing Church, Doing Spirituality, Doing Healing, and Doing Reconciliation.
This is an inspiring episode where Jon and Alexander dive into discussions on topics such as: the importance of creating routines for reading the Bible, how to live a more unhurried life, the spiritual practices of Jesus, inward fears and traumas shown in outward aspects, and how to do the hard work of heart work. Important questions that were brought up and worth reflecting on are: “Who would you like to have become when you breath your last breath? And who would you like to be before the Lord in eternity?”.
