Welcome to the Vertical Community Church NTX Podcast! đ§â¨
Whether you're from North Texas or tuning in from further afield, we're thrilled to have you join our church community through this podcast. Here, we dive deep into our weekly sermons, exploring the teachings of Jesus and discussing how they apply to our lives today. Our podcast is designed not just to spread the word but to foster a vibrant, supportive community grounded in our core values of faith, hope, and love.
At Vertical Community Church NTX, we believe in being an authentic community empowered by the Holy Spirit.
On this episode of the VerticalNTX Podcast, weâre reminded of something simpleâbut life-changing: God doesnât just want us to work for Him, He wants us to be with Him. In a world that pushes us to strive, perform, and rely on our own strength, this message invites us to slow down and just sit in Godâs presence.
Youâll hear how easy it is to do things for God without actually doing them with Himâand why that leaves us empty. But when we learn to trust, wait, and rest in Him, thereâs a powerful exchange where He gives us new strength. No matter what season youâre inâthe good, the hard, or the overwhelmingâGod is already there with you, walking through it all.

THE CREED - 4 | "Finding Hope When Life is Hard"
On this episode of the VerticalNTX Podcast, we continue âThe Creedâ series by looking at the cross in a deeper and more real way. The cross wasnât just a symbolâit was an instrument of pain, shame, and suffering. And yet, itâs where we find our greatest hope.
This message reminds us that Jesus didnât just die for usâHe suffered for us. He understands pain, betrayal, and hardship because He walked through it Himself. Because of that, weâre not alone in what we face. The same suffering that Jesus endured is what made a way for our peace, healing, and hopeâeven when life feels heavy.

THE CREED - 3 | "Finding God in the Ordinary"
On this episode of the VerticalNTX Podcast, we continue âThe Creedâ series by discovering how God is presentânot just in big, emotional momentsâbut in the ordinary parts of life. This message reminds us that God doesnât visit us occasionally; He dwells with us continually through the Holy Spirit. Even when we donât feel it, He is working within usârenewing our minds, healing our hearts, and teaching us how to love.
