ELISHA | Your Obedience Changes Everything | Joe Angelo
What happens when God's instructions don't match your expectations?
In 2 Kings 5:1–19, Naaman was a powerful commander who desperately needed healing. But when God provided a path forward through the prophet Elisha, Naaman almost walked away because the instructions seemed too simple.
His story reminds us that pride can keep us from receiving what God wants to do in our lives.
In this message, Joe Angelo explores what it means to move beyond simply hearing God's Word and begin living it out through humility, surrender, and obedience.
We also look at how following Jesus transforms our attitudes, our relationships, our response to anger, and the way we forgive others.
Scriptures: 2 Kings 5:1–19, James 1:22, 1 John 2:15–16, Ephesians 4:31–32, James 1:19–20, and 1 John 2:1–6.
You can know what God's Word says and still resist what He's asking you to do.
The question is: Will you trust Him enough to obey?

ELISHA | Do You Really Know Jesus? | Joe Angelo
Do you really know Jesus, or do you just know about Him?
We live in a world where we can know everything about someone without ever having a relationship with them. We know their stories, follow their lives, and feel connected to them. But familiarity isn't the same as relationship.
Could we be doing the same thing with Jesus?
In this week's message from ELISHA: Live Your Calling, Pastor Joe walks through 2 Kings 4:8–37 and challenges us to examine what it means to truly know Jesus, trust His character, and walk with Him.
Through the seven “I AM” statements of Jesus, we're reminded:
• When my soul feels empty, He is still my bread.
• When my future looks dark, He is still my light.
• When I feel shut out, He is still my door.
• When I feel forgotten, He is still my shepherd.
• When I'm facing death, He is still my resurrection.
• When I don't know where to go, He is still my way.
• When my strength runs out, He is still my vine.
What I'm facing hasn't changed who He is.
Even when we don't understand what God is doing, we can still trust who Jesus is.
The question isn't simply how much we know about Jesus. It's whether we're actually walking in relationship with Him.

God Can Use What You Have Left
What do you do when it feels like you have nothing left?In 2 Kings 4, a widow comes to Elisha facing an impossible situation. Her husband is gone, her debt is overwhelming, and her sons are in danger of being taken. When Elisha asks what she has in her house, her answer is:“Nothing at all, except a flask of olive oil.”That except changed everything. In this message, Pastor Joe challenges us to stop focusing only on what we're missing and recognize what God has already placed in our hands. Your faith may feel small. Your resources may feel limited. There may be areas of your life that feel completely empty—but God can work with what you bring Him.The empty jars also remind us that we don't have to pretend every area of our lives is already full. Bring your temper. Bring your temptation. Bring your worry. Bring your fear. Bring the places where you need help to Jesus. We bring the need. We receive His help. We follow His lead.Where does your faith need to grow?📖 2 Kings 4:1–7📖 Mark 9:21–24📖 Ephesians 2:8–10📖 Acts 2:33Vivid Church | Orange, CAREACHING PEOPLE. BUILDING LIVES.
