Daar leren we van vrijwilligers Jacco en Anouk hoe VluchtelingenWerk begeleiding levert aan asielzoekers tijdens hun asielprocedure. Jacco vertelt over de juridische ondersteuning om de vluchteling klaar te stomen voor het IND gehoor en Anouk vertelt hoe ze een luisterend oor is voor asielzoekers die met al hun vragen bij haar terecht kunnen. </p><p>Ook spreken we met Tim, manager van Team Expertise. Zijn team zorgt ervoor dat alle vrijwiliigers en medewerkers altijd over de laatste data en informatie beschikken rondom de asielprocedure. # 4 Terugkeer - Als je vertrekt uit Nederland
<p>In deze aflevering van VluchtelingenWerk De Podcast staan we stil bij het project 'Met Opgeheven Hoofd'. Wat gebeurt er als iemand in Nederland geen verblijfsstatus krijgt, maar ook niet zomaar kan of wil teruggaan naar het thuisland? En hoe ziet de begeleiding eruit wanneer iemand wél besluit vrijwillig terug te keren?</p><p>We spreken met Annet, landelijk projectleider Met Opgeheven Hoofd. Zij vertelt waarom VluchtelingenWerk Nederland tien jaar geleden begon met dit project: om mensen juist in die kwetsbare fase niet in de steek te laten. Ook horen we Marlies, consulent Landen van Herkomst. Zij vertelt hoe intensief zij samenwerkt met cliënten én met lokale partnerorganisaties om terugkeer menswaardig en duurzaam te maken.
