Want wat is AI, wat is er mogelijk en wat zijn de ethische gevoeligheden? 1) Max Welling, hoogleraar machine learning aan de Universiteit van Amsterdam: 'Mensen veranderen altijd mee met de technologie. Toen we een bijl hadden, hakten we bomen om en gingen we in huizen wonen. Misschien dragen we in de toekomst chips in ons lichaam.' 2) Rina Joosten, medeoprichter van Seedlink dat werkgevers en sollicitanten matcht op basis van spraak 'want of iemand bijvoorbeeld een teamplayer is haal je heel moeilijk uit een cv'. 3) Jeroen van den Hoven, professor ethiek aan de TU Delft, werkt samen met wetenschappers en techneuten om vroegtijdig te kijken naar ethische bezwaren. En hoe dat al op de tekentafel te verbeteren. 'Nederland loopt daarin voorop.' NB Deze podcast werd eerder uitgebracht ter voorbereiding op de 57ste Bilderbergconferentie. De interviews met Welling, Joosten en Van der Hoven zijn hetzelfde. In deze eerdere versie geeft ook VNO-NCW-voorzitter Hans de Boer -in het begin en het einde van de podcast- zijn kijk op AI.
