Rad loves whining to her besties via the void that is her private Instagram stories, and for some reason they love it. Anyway, in her head the premise seemed like a perfect idea for a podcast- the rest remains to be seen!
New episode every two weeks.
holy shit ya'll. episode 10. the end of a whole season- so it just felt fitting to talk about creating something new and connecting to people with it. in this ep, rad takes a minute to reflect on the past 10 weeks- she talks about the process of getting the pod to where it is now, how it feels to create and put yourself out there through art (is this podcast "art" though? lol), and most importantly, what a life-changing experience it has been to have an audience in you. she has her hopes and she has her fears, and today she's talking about them all.
thank you so much for sticking around. here's to getting to share this part of me with you.
see you soon!

ep 9: mercury is in retrograde
y'all.. this is what it has come to, I guess. it just hasn't been a great week, so in this episode, rad is discussing the most obvious cause of a bad week- mercury retrograde. does she believe that astrology is a real science? no. but is she also going to discuss Clubhouse, insects, work, and impulse decisions, and going to blame it all on astrology? yes. so here goes friends. and don't worry, she does know that all dumb decisions made and weird emotions felt during this period are actually a cry for help :)

ep 8: influencers and influencing [the internet & me]
hello hello! this week, we're trying something new- the internet and me series! to put it simply, rad has many thoughts on the internet, and putting them all in one episode would mean that you'd be listening to it for a week (maybe more). this is where I&M comes in- this segment will have shorter episodes where rad discusses her thoughts on the internet, one aspect at a time. this week, it's influencers! love 'em or hate 'em, they're here to stay. in this ep, rad just tries to grapple with a reality where real people can be billboards, and how it makes her feel. and boy does she feel a lot about it.

ep 6: big girls don't cry
hello hello! this week, rad is back with a very important topic to discuss: emotional sensitivity, or as she likes to call it, sensitive bitch syndrome. after crying every time dogs were mentioned for a whole week, it just made sense that she share her emoceans on the podcast, and also help any other sensitive bbs out there who need help navigating their feelings. i hope you enjoy sitting through this 40 minute-long self-therapy session.
thank you so much for listening and supporting the podcast! you make my day.

ep 5: revisiting wattpad
it's finally here! a recollection of the cringefest that was rad's wattpad phase, this ep pays a cautious homage to teen rad's "escape" in a period filled with braces, angst, acne, and bullying. rad gives an account of her obsession with fanfiction and "bad boys", and admits that it wasn't a healthy one at all. she simply decides that teens giving teens solutions to teen problems isn't really her jam, and that her unresolved trauma because of this phenomenon has not aged really well. be there for the teens in your life- they're probably going through some shit they really need your help with.
as always, thank you so much for listening. I feel so lucky to have you as my audience.

ep 4: internship horror stories
happy friday! this week, rad spills the tea on internships; although tbh we already know the tea- interns are underpaid and overworked (even if they are actually paid at all). will rad's ex-bosses try to sue her for what she says in this ep? maybe. but it would be worth it because this is the spiciest episode on the podcast. she also answers all the questions you had about the approaching internship szn + past internships. I hope you like the ep! as always, let me know what you think because that shit! makes! my! day!
stay safe bbs :)

ep 3: can't deal.
friends, in this episode, rad... just can't. the apocalypse seems to be coming closer and closer every day and existing normally seems like a betrayal in the most surreal sense. even uploading this episode felt selfish tbh. we've all felt a lot of feelings over the past couple weeks and rad tries to grapple with them in this one... the main one being existential dread lol. this isn't the most uplifting episode on this podcast, but it might be the most honest one.
thank you so much for listening and supporting- it means the world to me. stay safe.

ep 2: my silly little rules
the world is lowkey going to shit rn but rad has something more important to talk about on this episode- the silly little rules her brain makes and forces her to follow. she tries and fails to explain why her brain does what it does, and concludes, as always, that capitalism is the problem and therapy is the answer. she also gives us a lil life update and whines about people being, well, people. thank you so much for listening, and stay safe! also, interacting with you guys about the pod makes my day :))

ep 1: passion projects
happy ep1 day! in this episode, rad gives her takes on the hidden pressures surrounding passion projects and hobbies, and how the internet will jump on any opportunity to get you to commodify yourself. she then also proceeds to validate to herself her own decision to start a podcast. thank you so much for choosing to listen! i really really appreciate it <3

trailer ep
welcome to the pod! in this episode, rad tentatively beats around the bush for 5 whole minutes about how this podcast is basically cheap therapy/a journal to her. she says the word "like" around 37495 times in this episode and incessantly reminds us that she has only 5 friends. thank you so much for listening, I appreciate it more than you know!!
