Wakaazi wanaoishi katika maeneo yaliyoathiriwa na mafuriko katika kaunti ndogo za Nyando na Kadibo huko Kisumu wametakiwa kuhamia katika maeneo salama na vituo vya uokoaji . Ombi hili lilitolewa na Kaimu Kamishna wa Kaunti ya Kisumu Hussein Alanson Hussein ambaye aliongoza timu ya Kamati ya Usimamizi wa mikasa ya dharura ya Kaunti kutathmini athari za mafuriko katika maeneo hayo.

4,500 HOUSEHOLDS DISPLACED BY FLOODS IN KISUMU
Residents living in floods affected areas of Nyando and Kadibo Sub-Counties in Kisumu have been asked to move to safe grounds and the evacuation centers to avert loss of lives. The request was made by Kisumu Acting County Commissioner Hussein Alanson Hussein who led the County Disaster Management Committee team to assess the impact of the floods in the two sub-counties.
