Welcome to The Voice of Veterans, a podcast dedicated to exploring the issues and stories that matter most to veterans and their families.
Our mission is to promote the welfare of the veteran community and provide a platform for their voices to be heard. Each episode, we'll dive deep into topics like mental health, employment, and education, and we'll hear from veterans themselves about their experiences and perspectives.
Our goal is to create a space where veterans can share their stories and connect with others who have been through similar experiences. We believe that by listening to and learning from veterans, we can work together to create a more supportive and inclusive society.
Join us as we honour the sacrifices and celebrate the resilience of those who have served our country.
Today Nathan speaks with Buzz Lawson from Mates4Mates who talks about his own journey from RAAF Pilot to Air Controller, transitioning from Defence to the civilian world, the challenges he faced, how he worked through them and ultimately ended up as the Head of Operations with Mates4Mates.
