Corrono varie paure sui fili che portano al futuro.<br />Specialmente se questo futuro si annuncia sbilanciato a favore delle Super Intelligenze che possono<br />eseguire compiti ad una velocità del tutto irrangiungibile per gli umani.<br />C'è tanta brutta fantascienza che prova a spaventarci, direbbe il filosofo etico Luciano Floridi.<br />E ci sono i media a caccia di click che alimentano interi cespugli quotidiani di angosce e paure. <br />Per sgombarare il campo da tentazioni catastrofiste, ho chiesto in questa puntata un possibile <br />"Decalogo" per rendere le macchine nostre alleate. Sam Altman Jekyll e Mr Hyde
OpenAI era nata come una startup con una mission evangelica. Diffondere l'AI con una modalità<br />non profit, democratica, open source, lo dice la parola stessa.<br />L'intelligenza artificiale per brutti e belli, per poveri e ricchi, distribuito come il ghiaccio che offrono gratis nei motel americani.<br />L'obiettivo dei soci fondatori (compreso Elon Musk) era quello di non mettere un tale potere nelle mani di pochi. <br />Ora che intorno all'AI (anche per merito del sig Sam Altman) cominciano a correre i miliardi, il vento cambia. <br />E degli undici soci fondatori della società ne restano appena tre.<br />Anche Mira Murati, la Fata Turchina dell'addestramento che per un fuggevole week end aveva vestito anche i panni del Ceo, è fuori. <br />La svolta dettata da Altman si riassume in una sola cifra: 150 miliardi di dollari di valore, un balzo pirotecnico, se pensiamo che eravamo a 87 sono un anno addietro. <br />Un analista esperto di AIG ha scritto: "L'indebitamento di OpenAI è preoccupante, è come un incidente ferroviario visto in slow motion". Avrà ragione?
