[…] We know that when you can begin prevention work with young people, the younger they hear messages. So in the terms of domestic violence, the younger that they can start hearing about Boundaries. Boundaries are good. They're healthy. Here's what consent is. Here's what a healthy relationship is. The sooner we start talking about that, that really is foundational prevention because that can actually impact them being able to avoid being in those relationships and situations in the first place. And there's data to back that up that when young people get that information early and often, that years later, they are still in better, healthier relationships than they would have been otherwise.
