Recorders without Borders: Music in the Classroom
<p>In this episode, Lynn Brooks, founder of Recorders without Borders, and music teacher Samantha Salazar share how music is becoming part of classroom learning in Wamunyu. During their time volunteering with Kenya Connect, they helped train teachers from partner schools to bring recorder instruction into their classrooms as part of the curriculum. The partnership has also provided 1,400 recorders for teachers and learners. You’ll hear some recorder music along the way.</p>

Learning about KC's Work
<p>We hosted a team of secondary school students who were interested in Kenya Connects work, including the Wings Poa Reusable Sanitary Pad Program. The students were inspired by our work and are interested in giving back in their urban community by raising funds to purchase kits to distribute. </p>
