This podcast is more than conversation — it's a journey.
A meeting at the crossroads of covenant.
A shared longing to honor the God of Israel, and to speak His truth in the global marketplace of ideas — with clarity, reverence, and bold love.
Together, we explore the Scriptures in their original Hebrew, wrestle with hard questions, and celebrate the beauty of what unites us — and the respect that deepens when we acknowledge what doesn't.
So welcome to the dialogue.
Welcome to the wrestle.
Welcome to Robby and The Rabbi.
What happens when God gives a prophetic word—but the people don't respond?
In this episode of New Voices from Zion, we explore the fascinating relationship between prophecy, human response, repentance, and fulfillment through the books of Zechariah and Haggai, along with the lessons of Jonah and Cyrus.
God's Word does not fail. But Scripture shows us that some prophetic warnings are given specifically to provoke repentance and action.
We'll explore:
"The Word Demands Fulfillment — So Get Moving!" Why Haggai and Zechariah called God's people to stop delaying and rebuild.
Jonah's Lesson: Prophecies of Doom Can Be Conditional. Nineveh's repentance changed what happened next.
Cyrus's Proclamation — But Only 42,360 Returned. God opened the door for restoration, but not everyone responded to the opportunity.
When Prophecy Is Fulfilled Through Repentance. How repentance can become part of the very process through which God's prophetic purposes unfold.
And the bigger question: When God speaks, are we simply waiting for fulfillment—or are we being called to participate in it?
The prophets remind us that prophecy is not merely about predicting the future. Sometimes it is God's invitation to wake up, repent, rebuild, believe, and move.
God's Word will accomplish His purpose—but what will our response be?
Robby Dilmore and Rabbi Chaim Eisen explore the rich biblical tapestry woven through the Hebrew words for truth (emet) and peace (shalom). Discover how these themes reveal God's character, His covenant promises, and His desire to restore His people—not only with outward peace but with a life rooted in His eternal truth.

From Zion to the Soul: The Work of Building God's House
👉 Subscribe for deeper Scripture and Hebrew insight. @VoicesFromZion-RobbyTheRabbi What does Haggai's command to "build the house" mean for us today? In Zechariah 8:9–14, the people are reminded that there was a time when the work seemed impossible—but God calls them to strengthen their hands and get back to the work. Haggai gives us the same challenge: "Consider your ways" and rebuild the house of God. But what if the Temple is not only something we look back at historically—or something we anticipate prophetically? What if God is inviting each of us to participate in the ongoing process of building His dwelling place within us? In this episode of Voices From Zion, Robby and the Rabbi explore the connection between Exodus, Haggai, and Zechariah and the biblical pattern of God dwelling among His people. We look at what it means for us to become God's "junior partners"—not because God needs our help, but because He graciously gives us a role in His work. The rebuilding of the Temple becomes a picture of the daily process of transformation: returning, rebuilding, repairing, and becoming a different person day by day. We also explore the remarkable biblical idea that those who return to God—the masters of return, the penitents—can reach a place that is even higher than where they stood before. In this episode: Jerusalem — "The Navel of the Earth" Explained Haggai's challenge: Build God's house now Zechariah 8:9–14 and the call to strengthen our hands The connection between Exodus, Haggai, and the Temple What it means to be God's junior partners The Temple as a picture of what God is building within us Masters of Return: Why the penitent can be elevated The spiritual process of return, rebuilding, and transformation Why following God is not merely about arriving somewhere—but becoming someone different The daily work of allowing God to make His dwelling place in us The question is not simply, "Will the Temple be rebuilt?" The deeper question may be: "What is God asking me to build in me today?" Robby Dilmore and Rabbi Chaim Eisen explore the rich biblical tapestry woven through the Hebrew words for truth (emet) and peace (shalom). Discover how these themes reveal God's character, His covenant promises, and His desire to restore His people—not only with outward peace but with a life rooted in His eternal truth.

Voices From Zion Robby & The Rabbi "Let's Go Back Thousands Of Years"
Welcome to "Robby and The Rabbi" — a podcast where ancient truth meets today's hunger for God.
I'm Robby, a Christian pastor and broadcaster, and joining me is my dear friend and teacher, Rabbi Chaim Eisen — a renowned Torah scholar, the founder and dean of Yeshivath Sharashim – Zion Bible Studies, and a lifelong bridge-builder between Jews and Christians.
For over 40 years, Rabbi Eisen has stirred hearts and minds across Israel, North America, and Europe, teaching the depths of the Hebrew Bible, Jewish thought, and the eternal relevance of God's word. As a senior rabbinic lecturer, a Talmudic scholar, an IDF Torah educator, and a mentor to many, his voice carries the weight of tradition — and the urgency of today.
